Ps3 wasn't made for remote play. It's software enable. In this case, remote play is done at the OS level, meaning that the hardware supports it, so it should be seamless.

It's a shame,I came into 2013 really intrigued by MS next project. I was exited for both platforms, then DRM came. I couldn't care less about Xbox now. I'm 100% turned off, it's ironic because my view of nintendo and the Wii U has changed since then. Bayonetta 2 and Smash Bros are looking good. PS4 is a given for me.

I'm sorry, I will not be playing any 720p games next gen. Those games are 2nd and 3rd tier purchases, when the price drops then they're worth it imo. 720p has no place in next gen. I tell you, these "next gen consoles" are becoming a little disappointing. 1080p 60fps should have been a given.

I don't see them dong this. If they did, it surely wouldn't happen this next gen. This could be 7 years down the line, but I think their brand is so established now that it can stand on its own. It depends on leadership, if that's where the leadership wants to go.
The most I see happening is spinning off the xbox division. The brand has generated enough money and has good legs to stands as it's own.
