1 reason why PS4 is a superior purchase imo, is NO ads. As soon as I boot up the console, NO ads. My games are right there, ready to be played. The UI is extremely slick and easy, no complications. NO ads, NO ads, NO ads.

Just because you own both consoles does not make you a legitimate gamer. Being a gamer is having passion for games, recognizing them as art, having an appreciation for long epic story lines, being rooted in its history, etc. Having an appreciation for different genres is a big one. People have preferences, especially when it comes to what they want out of a games console. People pick up both because they don't wanna miss out on any games that come ot on the other console. The double standards here is hilarious. Xbox fanboys were celebrating when kotaku reviewed the ps4. But now, I'm hearing "who listens to kotaku anyway" or this one, "look at who it is, kotaku". People saying who listens to reviews anyway, but if it makes their platform look better, they're all in. Wrong. The PS vita is 199.99 after the gamescom price drop. You can even get more deals from amazon which will make a hardcore gamer very happy.

I don't understand. Why such a disparity between the mainstream and the smaller review sites? Many of these guys get no free ps4 or free games. They aren't going to review events. They're just hardcore gamers. With so much controversy surrounding the big reviewers, I can't trust them anymore. Destructiod said it best, shadow is a fantastic game, even has its share if errors but guerrilla should be commended for not taking the easy way out.
