I think the return to sandbox style is a good move. Shadow Fall made the same move and it mostly worked out in providing variety to level design and tactical choices.
Although, I do believe that the gist of the work on Halo 5 is already done, but any other people they bring in now are beginning work on the games after Halo 5. The studio seems to be staffing up to tackle multiple projects at once.
"You have an agent that watches the city — no different from the agent that watches you, but it’s vastly more powerful"
This is not exactly instilling confidence in people to trust devices like kinect, an be all for smart cities. Once again, the message is fumbled over private security.
EA really better hope that Titanfall launches near perfectly. EA being the publisher already makes me nervous, although it's good news that Respawn still owns the IP as apart of EA partners program.
I see what you did there lol
"Gies"
Not really sure I want to play this after ME3. Just killed the mass effect franchise IMO, can't find the motivation or muster up any excitement.
I 'm more interested in what CD projekt red is brewing up with cyberpunk and the witcher 3.
A microsoft developer speaking good about the console his game will release in a few days.
Am I missing something? Just saying lol
Wait, so making assassins creed games, movies, live action films, etc is milking it dry but it's not milking in the case of Halo?
Am I missing something?
This what we know so far:
Sony bend- is working on PS4 and Vita right now. Either its another Uncharted Vita or a new Vita exclusive. On PS4, I'm 90% sure they are going to reboot Syphon Filter. That's what they know, its their franchise which has been gone for a long time. Now it the time to bring it back, I believe.
Guerrilla Games- is working on a new IP. Rumors say its an open world RPG. With John Gonzalez coming in to write the story, there' ...
Dat title change
Is that why it only sold 220K in November?
I don't understand this. The division, destiny, and dying light have been done before. SEVERAL times this gen. It would benefit you to look them up. There's nothing new about those games, except that new hardware has made the execution better. I've played games that have tried this singleplayer and multiplayer blend, but it didn't work out due to the limitation of the hardware
I don't even own GTAV anymore. I traded it towards the PS4 camera. Not really a fan of red dead, but I heard its amazing. So no, I'm not going nuts over rockstar.
Oh, and this is the same thing that Guerrilla Games did last year right before Kilzone Shadow Fall was announced. They went on the Blog and said 2013 was gonna be a big year, it turned ut true.
I wouldn't be surprised if we hear that there are multiple projects planned fir the first few years of PS4's cycle. I'm pretty sure Uncharted PS4, and now a new IP are in development. Naughty Dog has expressed interest in possibly going into Sci-Fi, so take that as you wil...
I love that picture! Drake being himself, and sully is no santa lol
Well your comment perfectly matches your intelligence, it seems.
So we've still got activision, microsoft, nintendo, sony, bethesda, and a few others who haven't showed where they stand. This is going to get very interesting....None of the big three are getting involved and its making me nervous
Wierd to see companies that clam to be entirely consumer focused, and yet publishers like capcom who have been accused of being so anti consumer, have come QUICKLY out in support of youtubers. Something is up, and I don't like it. I fe...
I choose PS4. Unmatched first party with proven resumes.
That's all there is to it.
I think Shadow Fall quite nicely brought the killzone series to full circle. Now, they have room to move on and branch out, or maybe the take killzone further if they'd like.
My guess is that they focus in their new IP, and its already looking bright knowing that they finally brought in a central writer, John Gonzalez who wrote Fallout New Vegas. It's always been weird that Guerrilla Games has never had a central writer dedicated to writing the story to killzone. Just...
Agreed. Especially on a Wii U redesign to cut costs across the board.
Nintendo can come back, because look at Sony. But its gonna take swallowing their pride and making some decisions that may not pay off immediately.
Well just look at what dead rising 3, the last of us, and dying light are doing. There's massive backing for those titles, and they are zombie apocalypse games. It's not so much about the over saturation of the genre, but too many mediocre zombie games release.
