Asking for «Marketplace Discounts» in $60 AAA game from gigantic publisher, just pathetic.

How about better story, more bosses, more enemy variety (not only cosmetic, but gameplay-wise too), more heroes, more content, fix bugs, better gameplay, faster updates, for G-d sake. Game was released a year ago, made by 5 companies and it still struggles so much, it's embarassing. And all you ask from them is cross play, more bosses, switch heroes on-the-fly, better cu...

Then go on, name 50 games just like Kena, i'll wait. They must be just like Kena though, no fooling around. Or you'll be a liar.

Compare Hitman 2016 and Hitman 2018 (aka, Hitman 2 that they reviewed). It's a glorified mission pack, nothing more. Not saying it's a bad game, but saying it's «more original» or not a «regurgitated game» is a lie.

And, just FYI, you're combatting a point i never...

I'm not sure about Knights of the Old Republic remake yet. I mean, i get that it's kind of a bite back by Sony, in a way (because original KotOR was released on PC and Xbox only).

But, first of all, they didn't show any gameplay at all (and they can turn RPG into arcade shooter for all we know or dumb it down).
And they have Sam Maggs at the writing department and not only she don't like original KotOR, she also hates and mocks Star Wars fans for di...

Why? Isn't this a single-player game? Haven't seen anything regarding PVP or coop yet. And i can't find any information on their official website (which is bare-bones, by the way, but they already offer you a skin for signing up to a 2k promo newsletter).
Also, it's still in development and will be release in next 6 months, yet they already implemented microtransactions, this clearly shows you their priority.
From the gameplay reveal, it looks like they'l...

Sure, that's why they made that half-naked uwu helmet wearing smoothie drinking Kevin look similar to Johnny, right?

It's ok to create a new crew (only Johnny Gat and Playa were present in Saints Row 2 from original Saints Row, yet new gang was still great and memorable), but they need to be interesting/relatable. But what do we see here?
Why Kevin is half-naked? «Kevin is shirtless, i don't know why». And he also wants to be a TV chef, i gues...

IMO, the only «Saints Row» about this trailer is the purple color and that bad guy. "Your" crew looks like straight out Watch_Dogs 2 or from that new Arkane Studios game, Bloodfall (or Redrain, can't remember the name; that 4 player vampire hunting), ticking all the diversity boxes, but all having the same quirky personality. And personally, not a fan of that uwu helmet, not sure why that character wasn't shot on site (this is the first thing i would do in a game)....

@brewin So you didn't read my comment (aside from "P. S." looks like), ok.

Just for you, TL;DR:
Microsoft were the ones who were screaming «TV, TV, TV» when they announced and released Xbox One. Sony never did that. Sony priorities are releasing games with optional multimedia support. Microsoft priorities are all over the place.
It's ok to make movies and TV shows. Uncharted movie was in development for years. And no one boycott...

The huge difference is Playstation never pushed their consoles to be all about watching TV with an option to play video games; it was the other way around. However, Microsoft, on the other hand, tried to do that, it was all about making a multimedia combine to them. Look at their Xbox One presentation, youtube ?v=uP4E3xNU9pU - look at their tabs on the Home screen, it has 3 tabs dedicated to TV and music (Trending, TV, Music) and only one to Games; it shows their priority)
Now look a...

IMO, it's Blizzard by far, they were falling the longest time.

First of all, they joined to Activision. Then they tried to screw customers for years, remember "every game from now on will be online only on PC, but not on consoles"? Diablo 3 real money auction? Splitting StarCraft 2 into 3 separate games? WarCraft: Reforged? "All your map are belong to us" in Reforged? Selling WoW expansions (each was worse that previous one) for full price + subscrip...

I guess, next time, this «Abandoned» app will actually be abandoned for real. Because i don't remember their previous projects having delays or hiccups (especially in the last minute), so either it's intentional and someone is manipulating playerbase or Blue Box management hired some «efficient» managers. Either way, it's not a good look.

This is one of the biggest problems with "AAA" games from the last 5-6 years. They care more about microtransaction store, reusing assets, selling you a game bit by bit, piece by piece and taking as much money from you as they physically can.

Optimizing the game and fixing the bugs? Nah, just make it online-only, we can push hotfixes that way for the worst bugs.
Releasing a finished product? Nah, just call it a "live service".
Make you ...

But isn't every female protagonist strong though? I mean, i can't remember any game with a weak female protagonist. She can always solve any problem, beat or kill any enemy, persuade any person, you name it.

Still, changing established character's gender - just 'cause - is very dumb. I would take new character over Seamus Aran or Kratosina, or Hitgurl, or any other gender changer.

@Orchard
Did every developer said? No. And if you would read the post, it says «Some developers». I repeat, SOME developers. And it's because they already were paying for Pro, of course they wouldn't notice, for G-d's sake!

For example, i have $100 million, you have $100. We were forced to pay a $1,000 fee. For me, it's drop in the ocean, for you - no so much. So, according to you, we should ignore people like you, right? Wrong!

It's not a drop in the ocean if you're from a different country (where $1 can cost up to 100+ of local currency). And it's not just $1,800, it's $1,800 per year per seat. So if you have 2 developers (you and some other dude, making a game in your free time; like with Aquaria, for instance or Death's Door), you got to pay $3,600 per year.

Before this change you had to pay $0, unless your game sell for more that $200,000 in a year, then you had to buy Pro ...

I agree, it doesn't look good. But i don't think we should support this practice, paying again and again for slightly updated versions of the same game is a very bad thing, in my opinion, it makes developers and publishers lazy. And i mean, this is Take Two we're talking about, company that re-re-released GTA V for PS5 and new Xbox.
Next, they'll release same games again, but now with 120 FPS and 4k, then 240 FPS and 8k and so on. T...

People are excited about remasters, in an age when remasters shouldn't exist.

I mean, remakes (if they're done right) - i get it (i would love to play in GTA: SA remake, with similar art style, but better controls, better mission design, more features and better graphics), they're exciting.

But ports/remasters, really? It's the same game that you've played year(s) ago, nothing changed aside from resolution and FPS (sometimes).

I think it can. That Jen Oneal only joined company in january of this year and Mike Ybarra in 2019.

Jennifer says she got promoted from Associate Producer to a studio head, but i can't find any info about her on the Vicarious Visions official website. And her LinkedIn only has that one article about the merger.

Mike, on the other hand, was working at Xbox, as far as i know, but he's more of a tech guy.

Epic is wrong, though. Epic only cares about Epic's pocket and not other people's pockets. I mean, Apple provides you with hardware, platform, they process subscriptions, payments, user data and so on. It's not free. And it's not only Apple thing - Steam, Sony, Microsoft all handle that stuff.
IMO, there must be an alternative to AppStore (like there are alternatives with Play Store), but before it's created, you must follow the rules (that you agreed with before ...
