I've been in that situation on CSS with a particularly bad knife fight for choice of team resulting in a dozen or more opposing players chasing me down for a clinching knife kill.
I am really really tempted to get this game now. Strangely my LBP friends all seem to have it and are getting into it. I was expecting it to bomb but I think it'll be a slow burn that alway does decent sales.

The conclusion of the article is quite frankly lazy. It assumes that the sales for 2009 as a whole are how things will continue, when actually the four months september to decembert give a better indication. Why does this matter? Because the article almost ignores the relaunched PS3 and price reduced 360 as they are now and will remain for the forseeable future.
The consumer should control prices. At the moment people are trying to push the price of games up via content that is already on the disc (later released as DLC) or through multiplayer modes and even horse armour in the most famous example.
The consumer is best placed to set the prices of games and when devs use practices that are against the interests of the consumer, pirating of games and trading or renting games is a legitimate yet undoubtedly grubby response.

People are comparing this game to KZ2 I don't know what planet they are on. Stylistically I'm sure it can compete with any other game but in terms of hardware it just isn't possible on the 360.

60gb PS3 which I downgraded to from my 40gb PS3.

Try to think of a single Wii game you would want on the PS3? No? All I can think of is that pinball game Rockstar made a while ago (360 first I know).
Quite frankly the delay will result in massive failure i suspect. Shame could have been successful with a headstart.
My point is that as far as console gaming goes Gabe has himself made it look like fanboyism that he doesn't want to develop for PS3. There's nothing wrong with it and plenty of PC developers have similarly not bothered with it but if he didn't want to give the impression of being a M$ fanboy a$$hole then comments like "the PS3 is just a waste of everyones time" don't help.
