Resident Evil 4 was far more revolutionary to the TPS genre with its OTS camera view way before Gears. Gears is s very good series, but let’s not get carried away here.

Nah, not at all. I’d get why people might be a bit skeptical of this due to the mediocre game that Mass Effect: Andromeda was though. To me this game does have some potential, whether it’s mimicking certain games before it or not.
It sort of reminds me of a Destiny meets Mass Effect amalgamation. I think if it’s polished and executed well enough, it could be a good game.
Certainly a nice offering from both MS and Sony this month, but Kiwami alone trumps anything for me on both ends tbh. Yakuza games just ooze quality and there’s seemingly neverending things to do in all of the games.
Agreed, I pity those with a base Xbox One. 860p on one of the biggest games of the year. Add to that, an abysmal display of exclusive games to show off on “the most powerful console ever made,” the X. Mistakes were certainly made, all right. But 80+ million people at least came to their senses. 😎
That being said, this game seems like it will be enjoyed by everyone who plays it, regardless. I know I’ll still be enjoying it on my Pro, sub-4K, or not.

Not even close. God of War: Ascension is easily the worst in the series, and it’s still not a bad game at all.

OT, haven't played the Division, but from what I have played of UC4 thus far, its a clear GotY contender for sure. It's just oozing quality.

For me it's Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, then the original Bayonetta. Two of the best all-time action games I've ever played!
