I guess I was right in the first place! Bethesda do now publish it apparently, both google and wikis showed Bethesda as the publisher for both 1 and 2.

So really the list should go:

Arena
Daggerfall
Morrowind
Oblivion
Fallout 3
Skyrim

Fallout New Vegas (Obsidian) and ESO (ZeniMax) aren't actually developed by Bethesda.

I still hope for a Fallout return!

This is terrible news!

I was just about to correct you on Fallout/Fallout 2 - but they were published by Bethesda, I had no idea!

I would be ecstatic for either to be honest, but I also feel like we will see a new Fallout first. I'm not getting my hopes up though, I will just wait and see!

@Forn - Good idea! Although I imagine the mechanics of Bloodborne will be far more intuitive it's still a neat idea! :)

Me too! Loot will probably work like the last games, you'll each get your own individual drops. I am super happy about the password option for playing with friends, I hope this bypasses the level restrictions!

In all honesty, the BF4 premium sub came with a lot of content. 4 expansions, a TON of weapons, regular battlepacks etc. Obviously it's only worth picking up if you are dedicated to the game.

This was a feature of EA access right from the get go. This is not EA favouring Microsoft, they have a deal together!

It's not like Xbox players can get the upper hand on PS4 players as I imagine they will both be playing on different servers.

I wouldn't say brand loyalty is a delusion, that's unfair. Brand loyalty pushes sales across almost everything consumers purchase. Some people will always buy VW motors, or Nike trainers regardless of other, possibly better, products on the market.

"without any help from guides - and die over and over........... "

That wasn't really implying that I died, it was trollish comment to be honest and I shouldn't have even risen to it!

I didn't use a guide and of course I did die, I don't think anyone could go into any of the souls games as a first timer and not die a lot. My initial comment was that I found DaS1 the hardest of the three!

3990d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

@nucky64 - It didn't happen actually, if you struggled with it that's absolutely fine though! I genuinely found it considerably easier than DaS1, probably fractionally harder than DaS2 (but I didn't really do any co-op during DeS)

3990d ago 0 agree4 disagreeView comment

I would actually say DaS1 was the toughest of the three, Demon's Souls and DaS2 were probably around the same difficulty I found.

2nd! That quarantine zone in the house with the crying child.... that genuinely freaked me out!

I hope they have a customisation option to remove the bulletproof plating, I enjoy playing in first person and from experience using the Duke o Death it's a nightmare with the armour!

3994d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yep, sadly it has been removed - a few lucky people managed to get it for £7.50 when the deal went live but it was removed shortly after. It's strange because the developer thought it was to be in the sale.

Well said, bubble vote added! and my bad - perfect example of me just skim reading!

Can relate to a lot of what you said, I've not been gaming as long (probably 15 years) but by now I can usually tell if I am going to really enjoy a game from the get go.

They give us as consumers some insight into a product we are possibly going to invest £50+ into..

I agree with his comments on multiplayer reviews though, but even a lot of them tend to be reviews in progress now.

I think reviews are pretty crucial, but more sites should continue the trend of removing a final score, this will then encourage people to read the full review (I admit that I will regularly only glance at the final score)

3994d ago 9 agree6 disagreeView comment

The 1st commentor said they couldn't, I've just been pushed from all the replies so my comment seems trollish!

But to say a game is short, not very fun and with no replayability is a fine reason to score 1/5.... It just sounds like the reviewer really didn't like the game!

3994d ago 0 agree3 disagreeView comment

It's a shame, it is over a year into the current gen cycle now. If this came out at launch it would probably have seen better reviews!

3994d ago 2 agree5 disagreeView comment

I'm sure this is clickbait, but review sites absolutely CAN review games anywhere between 1 and 100. That is the whole point.

You can't review a game but refuse to score it lower for respect to the developer, then it becomes a bias review.
