All signs point to Lockhart being an Xbox SX cheaper alternative, all digital console with similar power to the One X with a cheaper price point could be a real tempting offer to lot of customers.
Why are people kicking off about this? PlayStation opened their show with GTAV... And the rest of the event was pretty decent.
Why don't you wait untill you pass judgement, then if it's crap you can comment, but untill then I'd prefer to be positive about it.

If you have an opinion, it's got to be thought out and reasonable.. if people don't like the setting, or even if they don't like first person games that's fine. That's your taste.

Everyone who's played the game (Prologue Might I add) has loved it, and had nothing but good things to say.
Only gripe I've heard is the inventory management is a bit convulated, and the driving feels too twitchy, which the developers have already said they're working to improve.

I'm going to get the console but I agree the name is a bit strange, especially to people who aren't up to date with gaming news.
Xbox 720 or Xbox infinity was another couple of names I liked from last Gen too.
Genuinely down to what they do with the next console to be honest, and the kind of games the new studios release on it.
And for the people saying "oh just get a PC".
I hear you, but most people don't have the funds, or the time to warrant building a PC good enough for gaming.
I'm not dropping over £1000 on a PC, when I can spend £400 on a console that provides me with the same (worse graphics, boohoo) experie...
I think everyone is being a bit harsh on good ol' Gears.
For me the main trilogy was fantastic, all three of them.
Gears of war 4 was a good game, but it just lacked something fresh and seemed like a retread of old ideas to play it safe. Gave the 5th one a chance, I think it may surprise people

Dragon age origins, Mass effect trilogy, Knights of the old Republic.
Some of my favourite games ever. And now they're just releasing half baked products full of greed and technical issues. With a lack of any Story worthy of the studio name.
I think it's name to knock it down and start again, Bioware isn't a name that inspires faith anymore.

At the end of the day both groups of people have no idea what they're talking about. Those saying that the next Xbox is going to have amazing first party games, and those who say that the next Xbox is going to be absolute sh*t..
We won't know until it comes out, if you're skeptical, why don't you just wait till the thing and it's games come out before either praising or bashing it.

No, they've done what they did with Xbox 360. Absolutely killed any support for it games wise for the last 2-3 years, and holding back all the (Hopefully)decent exclusives for the new console. Relying on just mostly multiplats.
I just pray that all this talk of new studios, ends up producing some quality experiences.
E3 2020 is going to be a massive indicator whether or not an Xbox is worth having, and to be honest, I have my doubts.

All depends on price and the people buying. I personally will be getting the SX because I can afford it and will make use of it.
Thing is some people can't do that and will like a cheaper alternative. Options are a nice thing to have. That's why Sony "who are the best company to walk the earth according to N4G" are offering options too.
