I'm not comparing Halo to Call of duty or Battlefield directly, I'm saying that games don't always have to have a progression system to be fun.

I agree the battlepass and store items are overpriced/underwhelming. But sometimes people just want to play a game that's fun and actually isn't broken at launch.
Had more fun in a week of playing Halo with my friends than the last 4 iterations of progression based shooter boys e.g Call of duty/Battlefield.
Is it a bad game after the fixes? No it's not.
It was misold on features that are still missing after several updates, it hasn't had anything added to it in regards to DLC.
It's a decent game, but the problem is CDPR sold this as the best RPG ever made, and what we got was a shallow beautiful looking city, with a few good storylines.

A walking sim that gave you decent story, good atmosphere, and a bit of a gimmicky split world with boring puzzles. Solid 6/7 in my opinion.

A lot of people I trust on YouTube have nothing but praise for this, and i believe them.
I am worried about the base console performance as well, but I'm also excited that this is the first game of this new generation that is really going to show me what the new systems are capable of, especially when they upgrade the game for next gen.
