Wait, what? The clock speed doesn't matter? Sure utilizing all cores is the most important thing, but next would be your clock speed. I'd say that can even reverse if your clock speed is too low, to where the clock speed would be the biggest factor and not the core utilization. I'd rather have a 3+ ghz CPU utilizing all of it's cores rather than a 1.4 utilizing all of it's cores. One is going to be way more powerful than the other.

I'd have to ask what is a "full next gen price"? Considering games have been at a $60 price tag for the past 3 gens. Hell, that's not even that bad. IDK, it looks like you will be able to do pretty much the same things in Watchdogs as you can in GTA but with more options to do those things with. Granted there might not be hookers to pick up or tennis to play. But IMO tennis and darts were never a big part of why I liked GTA 5.
This is definitely very much DayZ+Rust. But that's not a bad thing at all. They both have their strong points and this game seems like it's going to pull those together and add some good stuff to the mix that will set it apart. I think it's going to be great, I'll be picking it up on Steam when it's available.

It's not shallow to want what your hardware is capable of running. People expect better from their consoles in the next few years as devs get better with them. Are they shallow too? Because an increase in graphical performance is exactly what they are asking for and expecting to occur. They can make pretty much any kind of game they want already. The only thing to improve is visuals and physics.
It was 2 SLI'd 680's that the e3 2012 demo was running on. This game is going to take some decent hardware to run on ultra, and hold a solid 60fps+ in 1080p.
Probably just a resolution difference. I'm sure they will be able to keep the same textures and AA. I could be wrong but that would be my guess. That's between the ps4 and Xb1. They probably had to scale all of that back for the last gen consoles.
Abriael, even with those bottle necks that doesn't make his statement any less true, that it's more powerful than both consoles at that price range. You think the consoles don't have bottle necks? Look at both of their CPU's...
