So they are replacing one failure with another? Personally the failure of Zynga is proof that freemuim and casual gaming industry is unstable while real game developers will still be strong in the market.
I envy you at this moment.
Do they really need to be working on another console! The PS4 and Xbox One just came out and I'm gonna wait another 6 - 8 years before I shell out another $400 for a new console. Some people complain about the long life spam of the last gen console but you what not everyone is going to blow $400 every 3 years for a new console. If this is the new trend with the consoles than I'm just gonna just game with my PC.
Lets put a smile on that face :>
Wow, this is awesome.
I like some Indie games but I don't want to load the same games I play on the toilet onto my PS4. Also Indie gamers really need to stop acting like they are equal to or better than the Glorious PC Master Race.
Prior to Hardline, I felt Bad Company was the last good Battlefield game. Battlefield 3 felt like a CoD knock-off, Bad Company 2 was weak, Battlefield 4 was broken.
I may want to now give Borderlands a try, I never had a real chance to play it back on PS3.
X-Philes and horror gamers will truly enjoy this forgotten classic. While the game hasn't aged well, it did a great job at bring the show to the gaming medium.
Yes another game to be excited for.
It should be noted that Battlefield: Hardline may not appeal to many players as the series has been a balance between a gameplay setup that appeals to the casuals who play Call of Duty and the hardcore buffs who prefer Armed Assault (ArmA).
I was skeptical at first but after listing to a few friends I decided to give it a try. Despite its flaws, I felt it was a good shooter. I liked the new police theme and the fact that the game actually works.
This is defiantly the one game that didn't need an HD release. Yet Capcom did it anyway rather than putting resources to something else like a real Devil May Cry game.
I was not thinking about The Order when I made this list. The only reason I have not added it to the list was because its a new release and so it needs some time before its legacy could truly be established.
Some games like DmC: Devil May Cry deserve the hate they have earned, other games are just misunderstood or are just hated for what followed.
Also Sony really needs to dump Jordan Vogt-Roberts in favor of Joss Whedon for the Metal Gear Solid movie.
My money is the new Hitman movie will be another disaster or even worse. Hollywood never learns form its mistakes.
I feel S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is long overdue for a reboot. The game was fun back in the day and it deserves to return with a new story and improved gameplay.
Problem with Scarface was the game missed the point of the movie. Rather than being a tragedy of man looking for the American Dream, the game felt more like a Vice City knock-off.
My gut says the same game but in the past I have always felt that the Black Ops story actually made the effort to push the series while Modern Warfare, Ghosts and Advanced Warfare have been real stagnant. Meanwhile Black Ops was my favorite game in the series while Black Ops II was the last good Call of Duty game.
