I have to say both. It adds more content to the game while creating unique side stories that add to the lore but they could also be a distraction. Anyone who has played Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout 4 or GTA V will know exactly what I'm talking about. As long as its not the same repetitive task then it could be fun to play.
Is this also putting Star Wars games sold during the Steam sale? Because I bought Jedi Knights II and Knights of the Old Republic.
A very good case for why SOMA should have been the Indie Game of the Year. It was a good but terrifying game with a good story and challenging environment.
Its a better game than Candy Crush or Angry Birds.

In a platform dominated by unique Indie titles and pathetic freemuims, its good to have some verity. While casual gamers are consistently blowing their money to progress in some freemuim title, real gamers could enjoy this overlooked classic any time they want.
