I see your continuing to prove my theory that your some pissed off editor at gametangents.com with a sensitive ego (a common trait of high school brats = casual gamer).
You see most professional writer like to engage in a healthy discussion with the reader. You have decided to hide behind an avatar and insult anyone who disagrees with you.
So if you want to be a mature real gamer try having a real discussion rather then insulting everyone who disagreed with...
Classic response from a casual gamer. I'm sorry games like 'The Last of Us', GTA V or BioShock Infinite had a story too in-depth for you to understand, but that is why they have games like COD. Maybe your sorry excuse of a news site should probably hire a real gamer rather then a bunch of high school kids who think Ghosts was the best game ever.
Game Tangents - a gaming news site b casual gamers pretending to be real gamers. Obviously they didn't like The Last of Us because it was to artistic and sophisticated for them, after all most casual gamers are also too dumb to understand Doctor Who. They should just focus on articles about how Call of Duty and Angry Birds are the best game ever.
Capcom seem to forget that these "old fans" most likely have careers with disposable income while the "young casual" gamers need to beg mommy and daddy every Christmas for a game while hoping the guy at Gamestop doesnt crush their sprite.
Very important rule in life, don't bite the hand that feeds you. Something Capcom forgot about.
A great review but I fell the 3/5 review is to generous, a 2 or less would have been appropriate.
Agreed. Capcom obviously didn't learn anything from the downfall of J.C. Penny. If their new gimmick fails they have also alienated traditional fans in the process.
You have described most news sites. Besides I could not find another article like this any where else.
If it sounds too good to be true, it is
The difference between Fox and Salon is the staff at Fox admits they are not gamers. Meanwhile the writers for Salon claim to be real gamers only their either casual gamers or just liars.
Walking Dead dose spark my interest but I'm still hooked on GTAV
"A select few" is the key phrase in your statement. The sixth generation had a lot going on regarding innovation and creativity while the seventh focused on dumbing games down just to kiss up to the casual market.
Actually that level in 'MW2' your referring to was a homage to the movie 'Red Dawn'. Meanwhile 'Homefront' was created by John Milius who wrote and directed 'Red Dawn'.
I gave it a 2/5 in a review I wrote a few days after its release. I felt it was more accurate because there nothing about the game that was original.
You made several good points but I feel you were too generous with a 7.5/10 score.
'Call of Duty: Black Ops' was the last good COD game, after that its was just recycled the same recycled content and lazy story telling.
You know whats another way some one could play the same game? Its called going back and playing your old games.
I feel an 8/10 is too generous of a review as it implies that Infinity Ward tried to take the time make a new game.
"The Best of Gaming Horror" is column I write every October that focus on all kinds of horror games from iconic masterpieces to games that were under looked. In the past I have written about Resident Evil and other familiar titles.
You do make a few good points but the game was well praised for staying true to its source material and I do feel a lot of X-File fans would love to play this game.
However its been a long time since I played Exterminat...
Your not alone almost a lot of gamers are not that excited because of the failure of Colonial Marines. If its a success then good for Sega , if not then 20th Century Fox needs to ditch Sega.
