Could not have said it better myself. Even at the resolution, the PC version has higher resolution textures and far more detail than the XBox 360 version. But the biggest thing the PC version has over the console version is a better interface. Trust me, with all the micromanagement this game has, those purchasing the game on the console will definitely become frustrated with the tedium of the controls and interface. I know I am.

I hope they expand Team Tactical to 5 vs 5. I usually only play Team Tactical but 3 vs 3 on some maps can drag on. Forcing team work in public games by disabling party chat is fine but in most public games, I play with a party. I don't think disabling party chat was very well thought out.
I can see how much the singular focus of this game's multiplayer is getting kills. Encourage gamers even more to not play tactically or objectively.

Have you played Sabotage or Domination in COD4? Or Capture the Flag in World at War? They're like 10 and 20 minute Team Deathmatch games where no one goes for objectives and plays for kills. Now imagine everyone trying to get a Pave Low or an EMP or Nuclear Bomb.

This game is bland and dated. The mechanics, story, leveling, micromanaging, all feel dated. If this game was made by any other developer other than BioWare it would have received a much lower score. The review community in gaming is slowing deteriorating into one based on puedo-celebrity and hype.

The PS3 has an install base 3 times that of the XBox 360 in Japan. It's like people being surprised the XBox 360 version of a game is outselling the PS3 version in North America. The XBox 360 has an install base twice as large. This isn't newsworthy.
The XBox 360 version of Left 4 Dead sold well over 2 million copies. I don't know why poster say this game or that game is a "PC game" because obviously if it's on a console, it has been adapted for that platform. The game doesn't play any differently on the PC than it does on the consoles albeit you have far more content on the PC. I have both and while having more content is great, being able to play with friends on a console is far better.

Man, this game looks to be a vast improvement over the first. More traditional multiplayer game modes such a Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch would be welcomed.
