They said the same thing last year and the year before and the year before that . . . .
And you know MW3 wont be the better game because you've played both right?! MW3 might be more of the same but from the looks of Battlefield 3's 12 minute demo, it doesn't seem like they stray too far from the same generic set pieces and FPS conventions.
It's hard not to get excited for Call of Duty. They do set pieces really well even if the story is as hollow as a ditzy blonde's head.
I'm pissed as fuck you can't use the G27 on the XBox 360. That's a great racing wheel. Oh and the cheap Mad Catz wheel works on Forza 3 as well I think but don't quote me on that.
Man can you imagine all the gifted cars you'll probably get? I can't wait. I have about half as many cars in my garage but livery import and profile import is what I'm most looking forward to.
Yeah, just bought Forza 3 DLC and it worked fine. Just got told also there was a deal of Forza DLC like 2 weeks ago I God damned miss! SMH!
I'm surprised they bundled it with Call of Duty Black Ops and not one of their exclusive titles. Infamous 2 is coming soon and Infamous bundle would have been nice or even a bundle of Little Big Planet 2 which was released in January but seems to be forgotten already this year.
Yeah, EA NHL series has been king of the hill for a while now. If only EA could find the same success with it's NBA titles that it has with it's Fifa and NHL titles, NBA 2K will have some market competition.
This game looks dated. I've defended the Call of Duty franchise but even at 60 fps this looks dated. At some point you can't make the argument, "well, it does run at 60 fps!" anymore.
But he's right. The interrogation mechanic is a gimmick. There is only one right answer, it isn't dynamic. Example, when you know someone is lying, and you have evidence they're lying, the game wants you to choose doubt to follow it's own narrative. If you accuse someone of lying and you're wrong, he makes the boldest accusations so there is no dynamic way of steering the investigation. The game is just a gimmick in every sense of the word. Nothing about it is a dynamic or...
I hope Battlefield 3 on consoles looks better that Bad Company has. Bad Company is God awful ugly in place and washed out and bland in others.
How they keep getting so much more out of that engine is amazing. It truly is a huge leap over the second game.
Can't wait to get this game on Monday. Been playing Dirt 2 for 3 weeks in anticipation!

Best first post ever!!!
I don't think the leak was orchestrated. If it was, it was a piss poor job. I think as Activision were getting closer to planning their marketing campaign for the game which was to launch on May 23rd, more people out side of the studio got hold of gaming assets and leaked them. The leaked definitely came from inside Activision but I don't think it was planned by Activision or the studios making the game.
You two can shut the hell up. Peter Molyneux doesn't over promise. What he is, is, incredibly ambitious and sometimes his ideas are more than current technology can allow him to articulate. He's more open that any other Creative Director during the development process and what happens is what he wants, what he wishes, gets misconstrued by an overzealous media as what he intends to deliver. They're just ideas, ideas he wants to implement and sometimes in development they don't ...
The biggest problem is the game is repetitive and linear. While the cases are interesting, the investigations follow the same repetitive, linear path. And the facial animation technology is ground breaking, but the rest of the game looks "meh". The movement is floaty and the hand to hand combat isn't intuitive and a bit button mashy since combos seem hit or miss.
Looking forward to what Turn 10 shows at E3. Forza and Dirt are the only racing games I play. With Dirt 3 next week, it'll be a long wait to my Forza fix.
Edit: God, I hate this site! What's there to disagree with about my comments you brainless twits?!
I think reviewers are bigger fanboys than gamers. I don't understand how some games manage to get incredibly high review scores when the games are broken, lack content, are repetitive or just not worth $60. If someone other than Valve made Portal 2, reviewers would slam the game for not being a full retail title. And how is it that few reviewers have pointed out that LA Noire is as repetitive and linear as the first Assassin's Creed simply because Rockstar Games is the publisher. 2 ga...

I was just about to ask the same thing. Everyone's jumped on the Battlefield 3 bandwagon but from the 12 minute trailer they've shown, it's the same tired FPS formula; man that heavy gun, take out that sniper, man that turret. Same generic set pieces in every FPS today.
