"Everyone else" is the minority. I think the monster sales of Black Ops and the fact that 600,000 unique users were online at peak last night, proves that. The fans will decide if it's enough for them, not the detractors. And 20 million strong speaking with their wallets can be pretty loud!
Leave it to some PS3 fantard to mention Uncharted and Killzone in the first comment post in an article about BIOSHOCK INFINITE!
On topic; The demo was nothing short of amazing. It seems to be such an immersive and dynamic experience. Really looking forward to the game.
Why is anyone who enjoys Call of Duty sheep? The only place I see this kind of disdain for Call of Duty is on the internet. People genuinely love the game. Love the instant gratification and accessibility of the multiplayer and love that's it been mostly unchanged since Call of Duty 4. Who are the sheep, the people who love and enjoy Call of Duty or the douches on the internet bandwagon claiming it sucks?!
What other games does Epic Games make besides Gears of War and Unreal. They didn't even make Bulletstorm. The acquired a majority stake in the company after the game was in development. The same with Chair. Epic Games doesn't make games. They'll be making Gears of War games until the wheels fall off like they did with Unreal.
Man, who saw Clarkson eat up Monte Carlo in the Citroen DS3 Sunday night?! That was intense. Can you believe Hamster only beat Captain Slow by 1 second?! He should be ashamed. Hope the Monte Carlo track get's added to Forza 4. It's awesome! Still think Tom Chilton is the new Stig though.
I still have my X31 which was $99 when I bought it. I just can't justify spending $250 on a headset. Even with my P21 for my PS3, combined they both cost less that this PX5.

Welcome to the great Sony circle jerk which is prevalent on almost every gaming site.

I agree with you both. Not only is the game dull but I didn't like at all how linear the game was. The investigations all followed the same pattern and the game isn't at all dynamic. It's clear the developers want you to ask specific questions to play out the games linear narrative. There's no dynamic way of steering the investigations. I've been down on this game since I bought it. It don't understand the hype and it shows how br...
I do understand your argument but we're talking about a different platform with a very different development architecture and pricing structure.
I still say if this game was released as an XBLA/PSN title the critics would not have been as harsh. Let's face it, it was a fun game but not worth $60. I'm disappointed that Gearbox and TakeTwo tried to capitalize on the popularity of the franchise rather than realizing what they had was really 12 years of dated, unfinished ideas. They should have put the game out as a downloadable title, get Duke's name back out there, then begin work on a true current gen Duke title. They fucke...
All Modern Warfare 3 has do do is be released on time. Plain as simple. There were 600,000 unique users playing Black Ops this weekend; 120,000 playing Modern Warfare 2; 11,000 playing Modern Warfare and 10,000 still playing World at War. Regardless of its inability to innovate, you already know what you're getting with Modern Warfare 3 and being safe is responsible for its growing success. You're getting more guns, more maps, a few new perks. I was playing this weekend and most peopl...
I think all of this acrimony and the delay of the game came about because of Rockstar wanting the game to be multiplatform. In Rockstar's defense, had their name not been on the game, it wouldn't have been as well reviewed or sold as well. LA Noire is a linear as shit, point and click action adventure. The game isn't dynamic at all and wants you to follow a very linear path to unfold the game's mediocre story.
Problem with their comments are, is that Gears of War is a "cover based" shooter. It's understandable that the level design is to accommodate the games' setpieces. BioWare should focus on making a great RPG not comparing themselves to action adventure games and cover based shooters like they've been doing. Mass Effect 2 strayed far from the concepts of the first game and was nothing short of a mediocre RPG.
I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft and Epic conspired to leak this shit. They hype has gone through the roof in the past day and a half. Which coincidentally is around the same time the Uncharted 3 beta launched.
I don't see BF3 and MW3 as competing games. They don't offer the same gameplay and I think most core gamers will be happily investing in both. Casual gamers on the other hand will gravitate towards MW3 because it is more accessible. I play Halo Reach, BFBC2 and Black Ops. Each offers something different and when I'm fatigued by one, I play one of the other two.
Yes, it does. It seems like the world of Rage is a large open area which is even more impressive.
Didn't want to watch but I did. Fuck this game looks amazing. Sitting here watching my wife play Gears of War 2 as I type this. Can't wait for September!!!
A lot of people don't understand why there is an emphasis placed on K/D in FPSs. For me, when I play Call of Duty or the recent Gears of War 3 beta, players that die often, hurt their team. They're just having fun but they're giving the other team kill streaks, increasing their score and reducing respawn tickets in the case of Gears of War 3. I'm not saying someone with a mediocre K/D does help his team but in a game mode like Team Deathmatch the objective is to die as view ti...
^^^ This is what a great insult should read like.
Hell, I'm not a Star Wars fan and I want one.
