The game is getting wide spread criticism for being pretty mediocre and that's sad. I'm really disappointed. I looked very promising. I wanted it to be great.
I'm crushed honestly. I want this game to be great. It has such a great premise. The folks at Joystiq are never harsh with their reviews so this really is gut wrenching. Other reviews have been equally critically but I'm hopeful. My copy shipped today so I'm already invested in this game. I hope it's a success.
Man, I love Forza 3. Just got done playing actually. Trying to get my final achievements, the Solid Gold achievement and Season 5 and 6. So looking forward to Forza 4.
The game looks phenomenal. I'm really looking forward to it. Can't wait to get it on Monday.
Never enjoyed Gears of War's multiplayer until this beta. The gameplay feels smooth and less weighted. I'm sure whatever balance issues will be resolved and I'm just looking forward to September. The multiplayer is showing real promise and has been the biggest weakness of previous games. I wish as a surprise at the end of the beta they give us a week with Beast mode.
You're the minority. Fact. People can complain about the price of DLC but the content is always well put together and worth the investment to the millions who still invest their time and efforts in the game. Again, those not buying the DLC are in the minority. So keep complaining while those who think it's worth the investment enjoy their purchases.
I don't think the Sawed-Off shotgun is overpowered. The range and slow reload make it almost useless. I don't use it cause it's actually garbage and I can could the handful of times I've been killed by it. If you're trying to kill someone even a hair's length out of range you're pretty much fucked using the Sawed-Off shotgun. I think the Gnasher shotgun is still a bit over powered but more so it's range than damage.

I am a fan of both Gears of War and Uncharted but I don't feel like it's a choice between 1 or the other. I find them very different games. Uncharted more action adventure and Gears of War more fantasy. I don't even consider Uncharted a shooter. It has so much more depth than that; the platforming, puzzles and story sets it apart from any of the 3rd person shooters mentioned like Gears of War, Army of Two or Lost Planet. 3rd person is just the persp...
XBL users having their info phished and the entire PSN being hijacked aren't the same thing. Article is rubbish.
Frankly I don't believe this guy and I'm almost certain there'll be more claims like his as people try to take advantage of what has happened. Don't believe him one bit.
For a USA Today article, there sure are a lot of inaccuracies.
Someone explained to me how it's "rumored" when it's clearly advertised in Spotlight on the XBox 360 dashboard? Who wrote this article?!
To all those complaining, you do realize he's paying the PS3 a compliment right?
Please, Dice were even trash talking leading up to the release of Battlefield Bad Company 2 and what happened? Mediocre community support and a dwindling community. Say what you will about Activision, it's studios and the handling of the Call of Duty franchise but I don't call having the largest online multiplayer community on both consoles treading water. When a game almost 4 years old still has a community larger than your last game, you should shut the hell up.
I know. Isn't Cole supposed to be a successful, black athlete? I don't see how it's disgusting or exploitative and I'm black.
" . . . they claim they're "very confident" in the PS3 version."
"Since the beginning, it was very important for us to not treat the PS3 version as a ‘port’"
Why is it whenever I read quotes like these from a developer, I'm always nervous? Seriously, if this were all true, it wouldn't need mentioning.
To all you Halo haters, fuck yall! That is all!
You mistake better business practices with ethics. Name some of the unethical thinks Microsoft has done?
The game is absolutely garbage. Should have been a digital released. I've seen early current gen games that looked and played better.
When you read or watch the reviews for this game, even the more critical ones, there seems to be a great team-based structure at the heart of Brink. I guess some reviewers just expected more. I guess not being able to run around like Rambo is disappointing to some.
