Simpson just oozes insincerity.
Seriously, everything about his public persona is incredibly phony. His fake laugh, fake good-natured personality, its all very transparent to anyone that is willing to see through it.
I wish I wasn't so broke at the moment. : (
darkpower, try and keep up, ok pal? lol
pavarotti warned that the "sdf" was going to come after me, and that is the reason I started talking about the Sony Defense Force.
I was replying to pavarotti. Not EVERYONE, as you say. Just pavarotti.
You sound like an angry fellow. Is your life really that empty that you are getting this upset over your video game console?
I get a kick out of people like you. I say I like Achievements/Gamer...
Ah yes, the Sony Defense Force. A group of losers clinging to days gone bye. Days when the Playstation brand wasn't the laughing stock of the industry. Days when developers actually wanted to develop for your console.
Such fond memories, I'm sure.
I don't fear them, I pity them, for their days of triumph are over.
Why should I bother? Your little pea brain will just continue to say "PS3 rooolzzz!!!1 and 360 sukzzz!!!1!"
They might sound the same on paper, but the way that they are actually put into use are completely different.
The 360's Achievement/Gamerscore system is beautifully done and executed.
Trophies are just a tacked on gimmick that Sony can point to and say "see, we have Achievements too!"
Achievements and Gamerscore = awesome!
Trophies = lame.
Seriously, I get a Trophy and I'm like "who cares?" but when I earn an Achievement I'm like "yes, more Gamerscore for me!" lol
It's one of the reasons that I buy multiplatform games for my 360.
You said that you were not even going to read his "wall of text" and then you went on to address everything that he said.
lol
Some people are having a lot of trouble accepting the fact that Sony's days of console dominance are over.
The Xbox 360 will continue to dominate over the PS3.
That's just the way things worked out this gen. Maybe next gen the Playstation brand will come out on top. Maybe not.
Until then, get used to 3rd place. : )
I've found "Home" to be very underwhelming, except for the bowling. That part (bowling) is really fun! The gameplay mechanics are great and so is the atmosphere. It really sounds and feels like you are in a bowling alley.
They only have 5 lanes, though, so that blows. lol
Its true, she was being chased by this toothy beast...
Bill Cosby is one of the few black males that actually speaks the truth when it comes to inner city black families. Many of them are morally bankrupt and live like animals, and he is obviously pained by it.
His concerns regarding GTA are part of a bigger picture, but they will be taken out of context and used to belittle him, which is a shame.
360 owners are not that upset for one very simple reason: The Xbox 360 is awesome.
Seriously, people have been willing to just deal with the RROD issue because the 360's library of great games makes it all worth it.
It sounds like Microsoft has gotten the issue largely under control, as well.
Only time will tell, but my repaired 360 is still going strong and the number of people getting the RROD seems to have gone way down over the last year or so.
In that case it probably would have taken me 4 hours.
I played the game on hardened difficulty.
I finished Call of Duty: World at War in 5 and a half hours, but I don't remember any reviewers talking about how short that game's single player was (I'm not saying that reviewers DIDN'T talk about it, I just don't remember seeing it in any reviews).
Regardless, I am a little concerned about the very short single player campaigns that we are seeing more and more of.
The L4D demo was awesome though, so I will definitely be picking up the full game.
"Money, power & respect. Thats the key to life."
I think God would beg to differ, but good luck with that.
Why, because nobody can play Resistance 2 and come away thinking it is far from perfect?
I played it and thought it was fun but nothing special. Deal with it.
Silogon, you can't be serious.
I own both consoles and I just finished Resistance 2, and it is a generic FPS at best. The graphics border on being last gen, the gameplay is rather weak and the story is nothing to write home about.
I had fun playing it (I love FPS games, even mediocre ones like Resistance 2) but calling it the best FPS ever is beyond laughable.
In my opinion, the lack of AAA exclusives, multiplatform games performing better on the 360 and high price tag hurt the PS3 right out of the gate.
A couple of years later and it still costs twice as much as the entry level 360, many multiplatform games still perform better on the 360 (or certainly at least equally) and the PS3's exclusives are not proving to be huge system sellers.
Sony is in serious trouble, and the struggling economy is only going to make matte...
