Call of Duty 4 is STILL the best FPS available (sorry Killzone 2, but compared to Call of Duty 4 you are just a boy in a man's world) so I'm glad to see it still winning awards!
Some of the battles in Freedom Fighters were epic.
Awesome game, but I suspect that a remake might not be able to capture the same goodness that the first game had.

The control issue with Killzone 2 is well known and aggravating to many gamers. Burying your head in the sand and saying "these controls are so awesome!!" is not going to make them any better.
I don't really care, myself.
I buy all multiplatform games for my 360 because I hate the PS3's controller with a passion.

Seriously, just because the "devs" want the controls this way does not mean that gamers feel the same way (outside of the blind fanboys, that is).
It's a very good game with very bad controls.

Instead of constantly attacking developers who speak the truth, why don't you guys direct your anger at Sony for making a console that the majority of developers can't stand working with?

I've been playing Killzone 2 for about 10 days or so.
Pretty fun game with laughably bad control and balance issues, that is being seriously overhyped by desperate PS3 fanboys.
Call of Duty 4 does just about everything better (and still looks awesome while doing it).
The list of things it does better is so long that I won't even bother going into it.
Hardcore FPS gamers know who #1 is, and it's not Killzone 2.
