I don't buy games based on the reviews they receive, in the same way that I don't buy music based on what other people think of it.
Reviewer's opinions are interesting to me (I subscribe to 4 different gaming magazines and enjoy reading the reviews in all of them) but in the grand scheme of things, I really don't give a crap whether Joe Blow from (insert magazine here) liked the game or not.
Some of my favorite games (and movies and music) are hated by reviewers ...
That is very impressive, mrv321!
Give me your address and I will send you a cookie.
"Wow, as if MS uses the RROD to renew their hardware as they don't have to worry that a single regularly used 360 will live more than a year."
Way to butcher the english language. lol
This is what the IGN preview said about the game last August...
"My time with Backbreaker was short and sweet. I continued to run through the Tackle Alley demo to try and produce an identical pair of tackles but my efforts proved futile. Even in the build I played, which was a few months old, the euphoria technology was already doing its job."
Yeah, it's painfully obvious that the PS3 fanboys are still trying to recover from Microsoft's E3 victory.
They really expected Sony to walk away with it this year, but we all saw how that turned out. lol
Their fear is only highlighted by their constant attacks on all of the 360's awesome upcoming games and tech.
It is very transparent and rather sad.
Glad it made you laugh, psycho360. :)
I actually feel kinda bad for Sony.
It's like everytime they start to get a little steam going, Microsoft swings by and drops some serious bombs on them. lol
It's very clear by now that Microsoft is taking the video game business very seriously, and they continue to trump Sony time and time again.
You would need to actually try it before reaching that conclusion.
People that HAVE actually tried Natal are saying that it is very, very cool (and we all know that it can/will only get better).
Try to keep an open mind. You might love it.
Wow, Natal is looking better every day!
lol
I think that a lot (most) of the negative comments regarding Natal are coming from PS3 fanboys that are very worried about this becoming the next big thing.
The tech demos really seem to be impressing gaming journalists (most of whom were very skeptical of Natal, mind you) so it sounds like this is the real deal.
I'm very excited to see what will be done with the technology.
I was simply offering a suggestion. Do with it as you wish.
"If there is a god... someone should slap the son of a b**** for not handing out more brains."
I realize that you think saying things like that make you sound super-cool (even though you won't admit it) but I would recommend that you choose your words a lot more carefully.
Everything that we are taught about God suggests that calling Him a "son of a b****" and joking that He should be slapped is a very bad idea.
"The game-play was very underwhelming. I am severely disappointed. I can't play a regular average FPS like this after playing something like Killzone 2."
Sony already has an army of Playstation evangelists, and their headquarters is called "N4G.com". lol
I bet if Commander Shepard had huge green anime eyes and looked like a 12 year old boy, this game would be selling like Japanese hotcakes. lol
I really can't stand the whole "Hip Hop" culture, but I respect hiphopgamer's sincerity and enthusiasm.
He seems like a decent guy that totally loves video games.
I know that a lot of people are turned off by him, but I find his "50% thug, 50% nerd" persona to be highly entertaining. lol
lol @ "play beyond"
I didn't know people still said that.
Cool.
Free = for me. :)
I've only played the 360 version, so I'm looking forward to this.
.
I realize that Sony fanboys are loyal to the very end (gotta love 'em) but stop and think about what is happening here.
Activision is openly threatening to stop offering games on Sony's consoles. That is VERY SERIOUS and is a sign of how dark the days ahead are for Sony if they don't make some changes soon.
