So this is an announcement for a game engine and halo infinite will be the next Halo. If that the case from what I can see it's made to be an open world game. That is not really what I expected but to be completely honest I'm very impressed. The halo engine to this day is still from the same one bungie made when halo began and to change that is a huge step for the series direction.
I can see what they are trying to achieve with the next Halo game. I may feature a va...
This the best tales game of the series. it dwarfs all the other game in terms of presentation, story, and characters. I cant get into any of the other tales series because that game was just so good.
"Some are bad ideas though. Like creating 6 new IPs in 3 years."
"6 new IP with a 3-year development time"
"No, no, no, no, no. That is not how things work, and that is a surefire way to have a new IP fail."
Each Ip gets 3-year development time. It's up to Ms to decide when to start development and make sure they have one or 2 first party Ip for each year. If 343 releases Halo in 2018 while the second team starts...

1ip gets 3-year development time. It's up to Ms to decide when to start development and make sure they have one or 2 first party Ip for each year. If 343 releases Halo in 2018 while the second team starts development into aim for 2020. This will allow them to have only one year gap wil no games from either team that when the other studios release their games.
"Why are they rushing t...
Yeah, that's cool and all but the way the announced it was quite unnerving. Why not make snippets of concept art and have a title screen.
I think the way they were describing the story, it's a game that will tell its story similar to destiny, through snippets of lore. If it was a full blow story similar to mass effect they would have already show the game in that form, unfortunately, they haven't so don't keep your hopes up.
Well, I made it easy by having a title for each section I wrote.
"writing checks to get japanese developers to release their games on game pass as a low risk option without a physical disc. "
Pretty much how things work in the world to be perfectly honest. If it helps spread Jrpgs over to the west then it doesn't sound like a bad plan.
Good, it seems a deal has been struck by Ms.
So, I'm just wondering was the game timed exclusive or did square and platinum just decided to release it on Xbox.
"I also would add MS Needs to start opening more first party companies and at least four more"
Yeah, I agree. One in Japan or at least acquire Japanese studios.
"Project Gotham Racing and Freelancer, but do nothing with them, that is just a waste of a great IP."
Freelancer is a game that has great potential. But most journalists out there don't really dig for those hidden gems in the Xbox library they instead mention Halo, Gears, a...
Microsoft has an image problem right now. They have to prioritize their first party exclusive games over third-party games. And Microsoft has the tendency of acting as if those game are exclusive to their platform. Sony does the same thing true but they have a way about it they make a huge emphasis on those game being exclusive to their only on their platform.
"Social commentary about white people seems to be the craze these days. "
What do you mean??? Explain please, I don't understand what you mean by Social commentary about white people.
"Also, according to Metacritic the game get's a 7.6 user score for the Xbox and 6.5 for PC and PS4...so obviously the actual peoples whose job and gets paid for writing reviews had oddly different views. Coincidence?"
User review has bee...
Well, they all sound plausible to me. The ideas are not far-fetched.
Wow... really.
No, this is obviously not the only FPS I played but it certainly one that impressed me the most. Even the review praised the game endlessly.
"People are free to their own opinions of course but this game was a complete suckfest even compared to the first installment."
"Certainly nothing noteworthy about it in my eyes other than the crappy characters and story."
Oh, it's certainly was noteworthy as not only is...
One of the most influential games from last get gets a 5/10. It's clear the the review doesn't speak of the content within the game.
They already mentioned at the Ea's conference that the battlefield story mode will be shown. Its a complete waste of time for MS to be showing off other publishers game. I know that is on Xbox as well as other platforms why do they need to spend time these third-party games.
Wolfenstein 2 is one of the best FPS I've played this gen. The story is just absurd and that's what makes it so good the fact that it doesn't take itself too seriously.
It's very important to be able to criticise the platform you support, this will only mean they will improve in the long run. I don't own an Xbox one (only a Ps4) and I'm trying to convince myself to buy one but with the way Microsoft has been with their less than transparent tactics they haven't create a good impression. Their service is stellar with the gamepass and backward compatibility but one thing and the most important thing are the exclusive games.

Never found fortnite addictive to be perfectly honest.
Halo's lore is way too deep to need a reboot. I have yet to play Halo 5 but with the way Halo 4 took the story I like that direction.
People seem confused.
Capcom has made it very clear in the trailer that this is Nero not the DMC 2013.
-The sword is Nero's
-The title in the car say devil may cry
-The music is that horrible metal crap fans wanted back.
-Virgil shows up
-Dante shows up at the end.
