I do not mind anime adaptation for videos games like Castlevania. Live action is hit or miss sometimes.

That's quite disappointing. Something tells me that they are saving some announcements for Gamescom.

Instead of complaining when Ms should have acquired studios, let's focus on the output for the future.

Only these studios were operational this gen.
343i: Halo series
Coalition: Gears series
Rare: Sea of thieves and others
Turn 10: Forza Motorsport series
Mojang: Minecraft series

These are the new studios:
The Initiative: New AAA franchise
Playground games: Forza Horizon series

"MS may have had SP games that were only SP, but they aren't well regarded."
They were well regarded but just not 10/10 games that people always expect.

"Similarly, indie games that MS have bought into are not 1st party games that MS made."
I can say the same for Sony and those indie game are published by Microsoft so they are Microsoft games. Do you want to apply the same idea to Bloodborne, Spiderman, and Death stranding? because...

Sony doesn't have the infrastructure to build a dedicated cloud service like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. Shaking hands with Sony is a gesture of goodwill from Microsoft as it keeps Sony in the game for the future which in the long run(after next-gen) will start to gear towards streaming the only format.
A lot of gamers out there will refuse to opt for streaming because of their comfort zone but without a doubt, they will find a way to convenience those gamers.

"Microsoft wants to be a streaming service"
They want to give the option of streaming. The Xbox will be a mixture of both, not like stadia which is exclusively made for streaming. Stop trying to spin things a starting fuss out of nothing, it has been clearly stated by the team and Phil that they are not trying to replace the console.

'And by past example Halo and Gears SP has become sidelined to their MP modes.'

Sidelined SP??? No Halo 5's story was the complete opposite of sidelining SP. There mistake was they took the story a little too far by having it be explained further through other mediums. It's that an overrelience on those mediums which alienated gamers that didn't read everything. Halo is one of the very few franchises that is judged by both it's SP and MP and this is ...

Stop trying to spin this as if it the only game mode available it, being advertised as 'the great change' for the franchise. It is only one game mode out of many and it's optional. It will not divide the fanbase as the people buying gears know which mode they are gonna play This is just for the casual crowd and who find the playing the normal mode too taxing and competitive.

Obsidian has a pedigree at turning other IP into gems. Take Fallout new vegas, South park and Star wars KOTOR 2.
When EA's deal with Disney ends, Disney should freelance the Star wars IP to any developer, especially Obsidian.

It was either that or they could have given us something that catered to everyone.
Personally, I'm glad they stuck to their guns and created a story that centred around mental health.
Some parts were jarring such as having to navigate through a pitch black room. But there was a point to it and Ninja theory effectively portrayed how a person going through this sort of mental health would go feel.
Addressing mental health and other emotional is starting become com...

I'm interested but there is one thing that bothers me about these games and that how it looks. The game is able to capture the gameplay and design of the 90's Jrpg but completely fails at capturing the look and feel of it. The 3D background doesn't really do it for me and looks hastily put together.
I've seen some indie developers really nail the look of a game and I know graphics aren't the most important thing is a game but it important to make sure that it has...

You will get a range of different types of games. Not all games are going to be AAA quality IP. There will be gems on Netflix and there is also crap you can't have only AAA. The whole idea is to give people choice and will break the cost barrier to try a new game.
Speaking of difference in the quality of games it is easy to go for only buying games that an 80+ on Metacritic but there are some seriously underrated games like Vampr, Call of Cthulhu and many more around the 70 rang...

Psnow shouldn't be a way to measure how cloud gaming will be in the future. Sony has neglected to update the infrastructure of the service. If Sony thinks it still acceptable to be streaming games at 720p late in his gen then they are way behind times.

I absolutely love the game but I'm disgusted by the graphics. Many indie games have perfected the 2d sprites and a mixture of 2d and 3d. Bloodstain, unfortunately, fails in that department as the 3D itself in the game isn't even that great to begin with and not really as poignant as it should be.

I have played all of the AAA games have have been out this year so far and I have traded all of them in. I only own Bloodstained and have £35 for the next AAA game I will buy.
Realistically, most gamers own just a handful of games, I own only 3 game which I keep. Games are ridiculously expensive and if you add all of the games I have played this year so far it will add up to £400-£500, if I'm willing to keep them. That is quite a lot considering games are just a lu...
