There is no reason why it shouldn't. Massive JRPG lovers are waiting for them. Atlus needs to put all of their games on the platform including the next Shin Megami Tensei
This is an anticipated game of mine
We could expect the same for other first-party studios.
Erm...no.
I genuinely thought that Bungie was done these rubbish schemes, which I thought activation was forcing them to pursue. Now it seems Bungie is deciding to do this themselves.
Leaving Ms was Bungies biggest mistake and im afraid they will never be able to live up to that reputation they had when making Halo.
This is Ludacris.
This goes to prove that platinum has a big hand in the failure of Scalebound.
How can you start 4 AAA projects(Scalebound, Nier automata, Astral chain, and Bayonetta) around the same period? It isn't surprising that one of them was canceled to make way for others.
Platinium is a 200 man team, they should take better consideration next time they decide to overload their development team. Kotaku needs to pay a visit to some of these Japanese st...
'As for the issue, I bet there's a bunch of people just finding out that this game has elements from "open world games and RPGs" '
Rod Fergusson has stated from the first time he revealed gears that it will be a bigger world. And that narrative has stuck ever since they announced it but not shown and being kept under wraps for the player to discover.
"and are suddenly confused where the franchise is going or how it will play,"
'I've enjoyed Microsoft games in the past and the present including the Gears of Wars series, but the direction the company is going is concerning to me and I'm voicing said concern/criticism/opinions or pointing out the truth.'
What are you talking about?
You're not critising the game you are criticizing the way it's being shown.
The reveal order was like this:
Campaign trailer
Escape reveal
Multiplayer ...
They need to upload the 4k option
That was Gear 4. Although a really good game, it was Gears as we knew it and the general critic of it was that it was just same old Gears.
The coalition should be allowed to do whatever they want with the campaign and this concept is welcomed.
Didn't Uncharted 4 and God of war have more open segments compared to their predecessors? Why should Gear 5 do the same?
I would prefer a Persona 5 Scrabble instead.
Gamepass will most likely have at least 1 AAA every year from First party studios. And as the new studios start pumping out games we can expect 2-3 AAA first party a year.
In addition to that, there will be
-Exclusive indie titles debuting.
-Newly released AAA third party game(3-6 month)
GAMEPASS is the best gaming subscription.
Because Enix/Square think they know better
-A semi-open world with classic gears levels
-Exploration, side quest, free vehicle traversal
-Light RPG mechanics
-Stealth mechanics
-4k/60FPS
-20+HR long campaign
In addition to the campaign:
-Escape mode
Escape with 3 player co-op and Map editor
-Horde mode
5 player co-op with 50 waves of increasingly difficult enemies.
-Multiplayer mode
With classic modes an...
Season pass??? Yeah, I wasn't really expecting that.
I think quantum break did a phenomenal job at that. For example when you take control of Paul serene towards the end of the game, there is a section where you can just walk towards the next objective in just a couple of minutes. But there is a board filled with detailed timeline of Paul's journey to where he is. Looking through those details takes time and turn a section that can be completed in 2 mins to something like 20-30 mins depending on how much you look into it. This is easily one...
Cant stand that man
After the headache, Sony put them through I don't think they will be their first choice.
505 as the publisher made the game exclusive on EGS.
Care to explain how 505 games gave Remedy creative freedom with control comapred to Microsoft with Alan Wake and Quantum break.
A contender for game of the year
The last stage for bloodstained was pure trash. The oversized world was just jarring to get through.
SOTN is one of the best games of all time
