"Why does the leading console have to emulate something the non-leading console is doing?"
Getting azure support is an indication that they are going in on cloud services.
Adding more games frequently than before to Psnow shows their response to the success of Gamepass. If they didn't care they wouldn't add those games and features like download so frequently
"If anything MS has only weakened the Xbox in the market."

With Jim Ryan in charge now. They have are focussing on cloud services
"If Xbox was #1 there would be no backwards compatibility"
Except, there was a team already in working on BC before Xbox one.
"no Game Pass"
Game subscription as a concept was already thoughtout of by onlive and Gaikai. And with 2013 Xbox always online, it was a no brainer that a subscription service was what they were going for. But the implementation of gamepass came as downloadable titles instead of streaming which was much better re...
How about you post a couple of articles detailing how their revenue has been flat?
"They're just less in your face about marketing it like ms does with game pass."
No, they just don't know how to market it. Sony has always been terrible at selling something new...eye toy, ps move, VR. It's only their games that do the talking.
"What lockdown? Both of thise games are coming to PC and Playstation also."
Nowhere did I say exclusive to Series X. Its not hard to figure out that Assassins creed Valhalla will move units and is much anticipated.
"Is it that important to you who markets the game?"
At the beginning of the console wars it is and MS has placed their bets on Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin's creed Valhalla, Dying Light 2 and Elden Ring.
How did Control do on PlayStation?...how did Sony use the marketing right for that?...did it make it to the top 20 that month...Spoilers...it didn't.
You're just gonna ignore the Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider and many more that were successful.
Games like Disco Elysium, Dragon age, Gears Tactics and many more turn based rpg will work brilliantly on cloud as it doesn't require a twitch reflex.
I can imagine a market for JRPG on Xcloud to intice Japanese gamers. This may lead to an insurgence of better looking JRPG games on the service.
They have an event next week and one big one in June. The big one is where they are saving their first-party games. They have been already clear about it so there is no gut punch if you're not expecting them to show the GXS games.
It's in a beta stage and not released yet. Expect the final version to have 1080p support
....this is getting a little out of hand.
I want to know the percentage of gamers who are in favour of these things? Or the data showing the demand for homosexual romance. Also, I want to know how many people even chose those options. If it's abysmally low then why are they bothering?
Why does this need to be a thing when there are so many other issues should be priorities.
This is what happens when Sony stays quiet. Some sensational titles here.
Assassin's creed Valhalla, Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Dying light are gonna be shown at the Xbox showcase and running on Xbox Series X.
It seems Xbox has the Holiday 2020 on Lockdown. Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin's creed Valhalla.
I'm expecting the 10 million gamepass users to almost double because of the cloud streaming. I've been playing game on Xcloud for a while now and although there are some noticeable latency issues it every much fun to play. Halo 5 from start to finish was fun was running smoothly although I would have loved to play it on a tablet.
I would recommend games that don't require twitch reflects and this is why Turn-based RPG will do wonders on the system. Games like Disco Elysiu...
"Gaas has replaced early access basically launch now and fix later. If game isn't doing well completely walk away like EA just did with 2 games"
Sea of thieves is a completely different beast. The support is like no other game and they are all free. If you had to pay a hefty price for the game like Destiny, and Anthem did then that would be a grave cause for concern but the sea of thieves had a great entry point through gamepass.
Sea of Thi...
Aaron Greenberg...He will hype up the most mundane of things. I don't get my hopes up when it comes to him.
"It's a subscription for free to play styled games."
The only game on gamepass I would consider Free to play is Bleeding edge
"As more and more games get revealed we see they have game design that facilitates MTX it just becomes more and more obvious what the future for Microsoft and gamepass is."
It so obvious, that Gears tactics a game that came out days ago is fill with microtransactions and loot boxes. Oh, wait! no it's not...
It's going to be Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay because the trailer showed only the Xbox logo at the end.
It's weird that a market that was ripe for the taking got ignored by Sony. Now they are playing catch up.
There are some arrogant fans out there.
If you had a subscription that gave you Final fantasy 7 remake day one would you take it or would you spend £60 on it.
I can already hear "support the developers" comment. The only developers that need support are the AA and indie developers. AAA developers are already backed and a plan for how much money they will make before the game even releases.
