I've been playing this mod for 3 weeks now and if I wasn't one to look at gaming news I wouldn't have even known that the PSN is down. Hours and hours of fun.
Maybe you should be more concerned about having a release cycle that isn't 1 cod game a year so maybe when they come out they won't be buggy as s*** and unplayable for months. I don't even know if it's playable yet, because after dealing with constant lag and disconnects I traded black ops in back in January.

Yes, graphically these games are pretty similar, saying one looks better than the other is probably a lost cause because it is so close. BUT, the reason BF3 is better is because all of that beauty is DESTRUCTIBLE!

Even if COD the next COD sells more than BF3 all BF3 has to do is be half the game it looks like it will be and it will be 10x better than what the next COD can even hope to be.
COD4 was a great game. COD5-7(more like 4.1-4.3) were expansion packs essentially, with just new storylines and minor game engine tweaks. This next cod will be the same.
