well i was thinking about getting this one but I'm gonna pass now. My internet isn't very reliable unfortunately and I'd be pissed if I couldn't play an offline game with that happens.
Im really hoping we get in the beta in August if we bought MOH LE.
The way he phrased how the open beta starts in september almost implied that the closed beta would be in August.

I have BFBC2 on the PC also and I still notice a definite increase in graphics quality. Granted it's probably not as much as some are making it out to be (probably because they play on consoles like you mentioned) but there is improvement.

You're absolutely right. I'd be right there with you but after Infinity ward fell apart I'm worried that mw3 will as buggy as treyarch COD games. I've loved COD since COD4 came out but black ops really ruined it for me. It was almost unplayable at launch on the ps3.
This time around I'll be sticking with bf3 only but I can understand why people will still get both.
I would honestly be happy if bf3 is just a HD version of bf2. I still play bf2, although it's really the project reality mod for it that I play now.
I think most people are hesitant to preorder mw3 after black ops because of the many problems that game had at launch. I bought black ops day 1 for ps3 and it was possibly the buggiest game I had played in a very long time. Couldn't play continuously online for more than 10min or so.
So I know I'll be waiting until after release before I even consider buying.
With battlefield on the other hand I feel pretty safe preordering because I've never ...

Maybe I'm the only one, but I think these games aren't that good. The graphics aren't bad, but they aren't jaw dropping. The game mechanics feel sloppy and enemies can take so many shots it's comical at times (especially in multiplayer).
I just don't see the appeal...
Well the beta wasn't that good so maybe that's the reason.
Although many buy this game series for singleplayer only...
