This is what it will most likely be:
1. MW3 (people are still dumb enough to feed this hell hole)
2. Battlefield 3
3. Skyrim
4. Mass Effect 3 (toss up between skyrim and mass effect for me)
5. Bioshock Infinite
Uncharted 3 would have made the list if it wasn't exclusive.
What EA meant to say is "Modern Warfare3 will sell a lot of units". Doesn't mean it will be a good game.
You're right. I am a PS3 owner and ever since cod4 things have steadily gone down hill and with black ops it finally rolled off the cliff for me. The creative minds behind what made COD4 (and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, for those that remember that amazing game) great have left and now so have I.
Looking forward to what respawn entertainment can come up with.

I'm with you, during the Nintendo conference it just seemed like they were revealing a new controller for the Wii. Then I kept hearing them say "new console" and I was like, "wait, is the controller the new console or did i miss something???"
Plus, the stream I was watching had a live chat and everyone seemed to be confused about the same thing.
Poor job on Nintendo's part.

Did. Watched it. Still not as impressed as I am with BF3. MW3 is running on outdated hardware with an outdated game engine. Would this have impressed me 2-3 years ago? Yes, but now it doesn't even compare to BF3.

this was a good catch. Whether or not I buy this for PC or PS3 depends on if I can afford to play this on the PC.

This might be the first thing I've read in awhile that didn't feel like sponsored regurgitation. I agree almost 100% with the points he makes. Most of us that now hate COD were once its most avid supporters. When I first read about COD4 in a gameinformer magazine way back I was more excited about it than I've ever been about a game and I haven't felt that way since until I saw the first trailers for battlefield 3.
