Hehe...
Full remake with improved graphics, new content and the water temple and inventory system overhauled.
Star Fox 64 3D looks like a straight remake, same content but much better looking.
I think there will be one friend code,, they've been moving towards that with the ability to tranfer your address book in games.
Either that or it will be Mii orientated, Jeremiah from 5th Cell seems to know something about their online functionality and it sounds pretty big.
Yer I wanted to see them too but it seems Nintendo left out a lot of stuff like Pikmin 3 and didn't even show FF Gaiden, Sonic Colors or Conduit 2.
Hell the Ocarina of Time remake was confirmed after the conference via Twitter.
Actually 3DS is being released BEFORE March 2011 and it's possible they'll go for a worldwide release because they want to stop piracy in Europe and they've commented that America picks up on trends slower than the UK and Japan.
It's the successor to the DS. There's only really demos right now but they're all real time. There's a video of the 3D Metal Gear Solid 3 port somewhere. I'll see if I can find a link.
No launch date yet.
EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
There ya go.
I think it will go somewhere between £150-200, I think £180 might be a good estimate. Nintendo is probably going to prove me completely wrong though.
There's actually no problem with the Zelda controls, there's numerous videos of people demoing it as proof. It really was wireless interference or could have possibly been the Wiimote's camera picking up all the infrared lights from the journalists and going ballistic.
I saw some footage before, it was very blurry but te level design looked good and it had appealing colours and lighting.
Nintendo never said that but the speculation goes that the 3DS can't push the same amount of polys but has shader support(which goes against what Digital Foundry said I think) which can be seen in the Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid demos.
It also looks like it has some decent Anti-aliasing as well, seen in the Star Fox 64 3D screens.
But it's still speculation at this point but people have been saying that MGS3 looks better on the 3DS than on...
Bah, no numbers.
@V: I'm just anxious to see how Xenoblade has done!
...and the Nintendo haters carry on in vain.
Hell even if Zelda Wii is crap we still have Ocarina of Time 3DS! and the Water Temple and Inventory are being fixed. So the greatest game of all time... is getting better!
You know what was a bombshell that has flown under the radar?
The fact that Ocarina of Time is being remade for the 3DS and the Water Temple is being fixed. Seriously people, that should be mega news.
It was already on Cell phones in Japan I think... crazy good news though.
I think in reality Iwata made the decision to make room for all the other games they have planned. Dear God there's actually a load of games coming out now!:D
D-D-D-D-D-D-D-amage control!
The hands on impressions have all said it works perfectly so there must have been an issue.
They're apparently in game, but I don't think they're gameplay and I don't think they're cutscenes either, there's too many imperfections. Same with the MGS screens.
Just look at the screens on here: http://reformiklubi.fi/~mat...
Especially the Resi ones which have been confirmed at in-game.
It was an all part of Nintendo's plan to lure other companies into spending money in R&D trying to copy them.
