Excellent comment and I think this is the first time when there's no real indication of how the game will be, Graphics are still a mystery and even the gameplay is changed massively by the motionplus.
I hope it looks more like The Last Story stuff than MH Tri, not that Tri looks bad.

That is surreal and I doubt Nintendo would be able to replicate it even if Zelda Wii was the best game ever.
That's an issue with the functionality though, they can't include content in one version that isn't in another, the only potential difference would be performance wise.
I suppose if they had a split Single player and Multiplayer more like Ring of Fates then they could have different content.
It'll be interesting to see what games are going to be on the 3DS there's been idications that 3rd parties only know a bit more than us but there's also been indications that they've had the dev kits for a year or so now.
I'd love if they announed a Crystal Chronicles 2 for the Wii and if they really want to include portable/console cross-platform play then the 3DS is rumoured to be around the power of the GCN so it works out.
Echoes of Time was really a DS Game, for a long time it was intended only for the DS.
I think HVS said the PC/360/PS3 versions are all the same, which would make sense because they're all built on the same engine(which the Wii version mmight not be).
Phew, I thought they were working on a new game then further distracting from the work that needs to be dome if they ever want to have a great game.
I want to see the FPS Grinder too although I think it will be the TDS one.
No, they're not shifting focus but people need to understand that game production is really expensive and they need to fund them with other projects.
The problem with shovelware isn't what the shovelware is about or who it's focused at, it is that the shovelware is badly produced.
Umm the PC has more shovelware and more casual titles than any console....
It doesn't remove it though, you can go for the classic mode and retain all of the difficulty.
The thing is.... not all games need it. The above examples of SMG2, S&P2 and Metroid: Other M definitely don't(although some have suggested SMG2 could do with having it).
For S&P2 at least you only need to the pointer and you don't turn the camera so there's no risk of pointing away from the sensor bar(which it seems a lot of people do). M+ would add nothing to it... correct me if I'm wrong.

Thats why there's absolutely no Castlevania games on either platform and that's also why there's no M rated Wii or DS games....

Saying that though Dragon Quest has been both traditional and ahead of the curve changing up the mechanics and storytelling behind the entries. Just compare the Zenithian Trilogy

I tend to only play shooters online and even then I end up not talking at all, people annoy me online.
It is sad that local multiplayer is an afterthought nowadays.:(
