Wow, neck and neck...
Aren't they first party? lol
:O Neither did I! Although was the game released on the weekend like mainline DQs?
Bet this means no customisation options for pointer... lame... good job I've got a CC Pro but I'd much prefer customisable pointer controls.
Well even if PSN sales are equal to retail sales(which I personally doubt) then it's still only 104K for the whole month which is really bad for the franchise, MGS is a mega franchise and Konami expected worldwide sales of 3 million and it's going to be well short of that.
I'd say it's completely right to label it a flop in the US at least despite it's big success in Japan. I'm not sure about Europe.

It does indicate that PSN sales could boost it but we really have no idea how big the market it for that but for what we know the game did dreadfully.
If you put the sword away he has a default running stance because it stops tracking you.
But it's the price you pay for 1:1
That eagle Pokémon looks awesome.
I don't think there's much to cannabalise from the PSP. Peacewalker only sold 52K in the entire month... that's less than Madworld sold.
Konami might be forcing Kojipro to do a port now.
I don't think he would ever seriously stop making games. I imagine he'd eventually get back in, even if he was just helping a friend.
Loved LO and BD, looking forward to TLS.
The Gooch is awesome, his blog entries are both hilarious and insightful.
Can't wait for The Last Story!
There's a new one announced for the 3DS but there was also one announced for the PSP which came to nothing.
The 3DS has a subtitle though, The Shroud, and the PSP one was cancelled due to Majesco's financial troubles so they wouldn't be announcing a new one unless they intended on actually releasing it.
Ahh so the sales may not be as depressing as they first appeared. Still got to wonder if it will hit Konami's (very optimistic) sales estimation of 3 mil.
Honestly from what I've seen Goldeneye Wii doesn't look too far off Bloodstone, I don't know if that says more about Bloodstone though.
Nothing I think, just the game(and a DS obviously). We'll be on a different schedule though obviously.
Yer, lots of stuff we've seen but honestly the game doesn't look that bad... don't know whether to skip it(what I originally intended to do).
I suppose it'll have to do until The Last Story, Xenoblade(please Nintendo?) and Dragon Quest X.
The game was released in Japan ages ago though so we do know... the basis is the same as a throwback; it's a classic fantasy storyline but the actual plot happens differently.
If it is being classed as a remake then it's very, very loosely.
Nope, definition of niche but it's sad we won't know how it's done unless Nintendo mentions it.
Shovelware: The game?
It's a simple game where you have to avoid putting effort into the development of a game by finding things to scapegoat and spending the budget on drugs...at the end you get ranked by how many people buy your game but don't worry if you do bad, you can always blame the audience.
Rated R for Really, really crap.
