They will show the hardware...if it's finalized. If it's not finalized how could they possibly show the outer case?
The more a console is subsidized, the more it will have to sell to reach profitability. I think the PS4 will reach profitability first.
It WILL be always online because it's part cable-box. It HAS to be otherwise it'll have to update itself EVERYTIME you turn it back on with current data from the cable company.

Here is what's the biggest pile of shit about Xbox Live! Arcade purchases: If you aren't connected to Xbox Live! you can only play the demo versions of the games that you PAID for. So if they can't deliver their ads to you, you can't play the games you paid for on their platform.
I know this guy has been around for a long time, but is he completely out of touch? Developers are already hailing the PS4's development tools as being super easy to work with.
Depends on how often they switch out the chipset. Ouya initially ships with a Tegra 3. But mobile chipsets are evolving at such an incredible pace right now that by the time the next model Ouya ships backwards compatibility may be an issue.
Always on-line seems like it's a perfect platform to sell ads with. I believe that's MS's actual plan.

People are quick to call for the end of consoles in favor of mobile games for cell phones and tablets. This is a console(?) that plays exactly these mobile games, but itself isn't mobile. Did the Ouya just defeat itself?

Did I miss it? I saw the PC pre-order price on there for $59.99. He said the PC version was going to be $10 less than the console version. The console versions weren't listed.
Of course the PC version has higher fidelity when it comes to graphical quality. But I gotta say, it's not as big of a difference as I expected.

Seems to me the PS3 isn't borrowing ANYTHING from the 360. All of the announced services are NOT available on the 360. Except the cross game chat.
