Flocking to a platform that is terribly outsold by the competition means that it's the publishers that made the mistake. Consumers ultimately decide what stays and what goes. If they are allowed and are able to think for themselves and not be blinded by their stupid brand loyalty then they will choose against this DRM shit.
DRM is the future?? That's bullshit. the power lies with us consumers. If we buy shit that supports this DRM then it WILL BE the future. But if we DON'T buy it then it won't be.

My guess is 1 SKU for Sony, the PS4 will be AT LEAST $399. Multiple SKU's for the XBone starting at $449 and a XBone 1-year Live Sub one for $399.
Fuck iPads, and fuck iPhones!!! They are not making gaming better, they ruin it because developers think there is no piracy on an iDevice so they flock to Apple to publish on their garbage platform! I think we need to wait for Beyond: Two Souls before we make this judgement. That's the one that i'm really looking forward to! Don't get me wrong here, i'm more than positive this game is gonna be one of the highlights for the whole gen, but Beyond: Two Souls really has pulled me in more than this one from what I have seen so far.

I think the Xbox One will struggle against itself in trying to find a focus. It's competing against to many areas other than gaming. Is it a set-top box like AppleTV, or Roku, or Google TV? Is it a gaming console? Is it a cable box?

1.) Will it maintain it's lead? The answer there is a resounding NO. I'm guessing the MS and Sony will sell that many consoles within the first 3 months of their respective consoles life.
2.) Microsoft hasn't said anything about backwards compatibility, and Sony IS providing backwards compatibility, just not in a traditional sense.

Oh yeah, a case that was designed before the internal components. That worked out great didn't it? I went through 6 Xbox 360's due to RRoD and the drives either destroying discs or failing. Great job they did with that. Let's say it can be done, but SHOULDN'T be done.
