I think by the end of January they will have overtaken the WiiU in sales. The PS4 is already 2/3 the way there.
I do as well. But only because I bought my PS4 and a new 50" TV to use with the PS4 so now I have no money left over to buy PS4 games...lol After Christmas though i'm going to dedicate probably about $400 or so to getting the camera and some games.
The PS4 is leaps and bounds better than the Xbox One. As a dedicated gaming machine. If I wanted everything the Xbox offered as well, I wouldn't get an Xbox One for it. I'd buy a Roku, or Google TV or something like that so that neither my gaming experience, or my media consumption experience would suffer. When a single device like the Xbox One tries to do all of it, it does none of it exceedingly well.
I suppose the pot would be calling the kettle black if Patcher were a CEO of a handheld gaming company trying to leverage a console but failing miserably.

Windows 8 is better than Windows 7. Except for the UI. The UI for Win8 SUCKS. But SSD performance under Win8 will smoke Win7 every time. Not to mention dozens of other under-the-hood upgrades to the OS are multitudes better than Win7. If only people could pull their heads out of their asses and just look at the OS and see past the UI. Not to mention there are several solutions to the UI problem at this point. StartIsBack, StarDock Start8...the list goes on.
Alienware machines are far from junk. But there is no question that you paid WAY too much for what they gave you.

But a $150 GPU won't run Battlefield without $500 of other hardware attached to it. Plus another $100 for the cost of Windows.
For $400, you get an all inclusive machine that runs Battlefield "good enough" for the masses.
It's a $5,100 PC with a custom case and water cooling. if the case customization and water cooling were more then $8,000 then they are just fucking idiots. Pay all the cash you want for case customization, it's not going to make the video cards or CPU perform any better.Also this PC doesn't work "out of the box". Why is this news? It's not a surprise to anyone. No one expected the Xbone to sell very well in the EU or outsell the PS4 un the US and Canada. Didn't the PS3 consistently outsell the Xbox 360? That's why the PS3 eventually overtook the 360 in worldwide sales. So this is completely expected. The previous gen didn't even set a backdrop for this. This isn't news.
