Why did they pick the PS4 out of all of those?

Maybe they are forming a super-studio where they take all the greatest talent from all their current studios. The new super studio will release only VR games for Morpheus and these game will literally melt our faces off because they are so awesome. That sounds plausible to me.
I don't think that would have fooled anyone though...lol

What they need to do is actually release the product. That's why the Oculus Rift hasn't really gone anywhere...because it's been in development limbo with everyone just talking about how great it is but not actually delivering a product.

I sound of an OLED screen is enticing, but the price bump that it would cause is NOT. LCD is plenty good.
I can't get my copy for a couple of weeks. But I work in Seattle and nothing is going to stop me from rampaging through this city bringing mass destruction and chaos to it once I do get my own copy! lol
The only thing this is representative of is that Microsoft isn't ready to be talking about DirectX 12 on the Xbox One. It's not even using a common hardware platform. The Xbox One uses an AMD APU. If this was running on an nVidia Titan, then there must also be a separate CPU. How can that accurately show reduced overhead when they aren't using even similar hardware?

My biggest question right now is what will it be called when it comes to retail? The PlayStation Morpheus? That doesn't sound good. PSVeeArr?? lol I dunno...
There is nothing wrong with buying a game and paying a monthly sub for it. That's how it has always worked. Then the free-to-play models showed up and everyone hated those. So no we go back to what we had, the thing we liked. Pay for your game, then it's a simple matter of paying your monthly sub fee to play, no micro transactions to be had! Just play like we used to.
A week and a half!!! I'm pumped!!!
The only thing Sony didn't do was hand Respawn a fat check for an at-the-time half finished game.
