Throwing grenade into moving helicopter is a feat which is real real hard, but can be done. When the chopper flies past real fast and you pan with it while the grenade lays and cooks, it is utter amazingness upon detonation.
Yeah there are no shields by design. The developers want players to mix it up and stay on the offensive, which means a heavy reliance on blood and no shields. Instead, the secondary weapons are firearms which aid in stunning the enemy and are just change of pace weapons.
I too loved shields, but we will adjust.
