Nope, you're wrong.
Your title was awful too.
:P
In all seriousness though, you asked an incredibly awful question in your title. We all know that of course it isn't fair. Its a money grab under the guise of "letting those who missed out on ps3."
The polishing up of old games is bad for gamers. For every old game that is polished up, is one less new game that we could all be enjoying.
Lol! Are they kidding? A fair substitute? Gtfoh.
Charge me nothing and then yes its fair.
Disagreed 100%
Part of the initial cost is newness and the fresh experience.
I finished this game months ago, and no matter how awesome it looks it isn't worth 60 because not only do I know what's going to happen, I have already seen it happen.
30 bucks tops for a replay, and that's generous.
Obviously if you've already played the game through then its not worth $60, but for those who haven't yet had the privilege to play this game, it is worth $60.
Pure chess for Vita is lame. There is no PvP.
Next Gen Demons' Souls plz.
All else can wait
Yeah man. Ha your post brought me back to college when I used to love my daily salad right before playing F Zero. Good stuff.
Wipeout is definitely fresh too. PS4 Wipeout would be pretty sweet. 60 FPS and better graphics and lighting. Sweet. Those fantasy race ship games just never get stale. Going super fast and bending physics is always a blast......after a blast :P
I haven't played Titanfall, but I just got Neon powers last night.
Second Son started out not feeling like part of the franchise, but after a couple hours it is most definitely an inFamous game, and a friggin amazing one at that.
What does any of that have to do with the millions of customers who had to purchase a second, third, and even a fourth 360?
No one is saying MS planned on the RRoD fiasco or anything silly like that. Only that the 360 install base was in fact largely overestimated in part because one single customer would purchase multiple units. There is no getting around it.
The current sales data backs this up. This has nothing to do with MS profit losses or repairs. W...
The problem isn't with this game alone. The problem comes down the line when publishers see giant returns on lower overhead with polished ports. We will see less new games and more old games.
How is no one seeing this. Publishers aren't in this to please us. They're in this to make money.
All 8 million of them?
No thanx.
How about working on a game that we haven't played before?
If this game sells well, it will start a trend of laziness. Sure its a great business model, but we suffer.
We want new games, not old ones which are polished up. That's bogus.
Epic.
Just as worthy as the previous 2, which is very very rare. This game holds up incredibly well.
I find Dark Souls 2 so enjoyable, even after 100 hours, that I haven't put more than 2 hours into Second Son. I just can't do it yet until I'm done with Dark Souls 2.
I know it may sound bizarre, but I'm just too committed to DS2 right now.
From what little I did play, Second Son is definitely sweet. I don't think I'll ever like Delsin as much as Cole, but I dig his 138 wooly.
Looks like Sam Whitemoon.
"Look at my hair, Rich-Boy. I'm gonna be famous and get paid and laid....."
Atari? That's weak, man.
I'm rocking Mouse Trap on my Coleco right now.
Lets pay 60 for the game, then $180 a year or $15 a month.
Or not
I don't like the power tree either. It feels like a corporate powerpoint presentation.
This game is all about being fast and loose with comic style story, and yet the power tree is visually button down and uptight. Hate it. Eye candy is just as important when navigating menus and such.
How can you not love the 138 hat?
(I refuse to call it a beanie).
A beanie is a little yarmulke looking cap from the 50s with the propeller on top that little boys wore.
The hardware is limited. The same way that PS4 is limited.
There is no magic software that will bring parity to both consoles. One console has more power on its board.
