CoD hasn't upped it's game at all. You're they type of gamer that's causing this problem keep buying CoD with the little to no improvements they make in their games.
They've done nothing this year that wasn't in Black Ops 2 the visuals are exactly the same. The player count is the same. No additions to gameplay same ole kill streaks.

Clearly both of you have only played the Console version of Battlefield which is a VERY POOR representation of the game. When you play it on PC on Ultra settings with 64 players you will see what Next gen gaming really is.
With 64 players you certainly don't run for 5 mins to find someone and also only if you're bad you would die right after spawning. You both sound very unskilled and probably the type of players in favor of playin...

Battlefield 2 was an Only Multiplayer game, Singleplayer was tacked on for those whiney lot.
But anyone who buys Battlefield to play singleplayer is lost in the world of gaming.
Battlefield destroys COD in every way possible. COD hasnt been good since Modern Warfare 1 & World at War.

dude, you are highly misinformed. To also max out pistols or any weapons. Scope, Suppressor, Extended clip they require ranks. You cant just buy them.
You cant buy high powered weapons until you rank up! Which means u have to play the game and do missions etc first.
So WTF you talkin bout? Have u even played the game? A new player at rank 1 can only buy a pistol so if he buys cash it makes no difference u dont unlock good weps until far later at a much higher rank.
You prefer everything is open to you in the beginning so you get bored of the game in a week?
I just enjoy the game unlock the weapons I want an their attachments an when I decide to move onto somethin else I do. I loved BF3 an I think my rank on there is like 25 Maxed out my assault class an cause I don't play any other class I leave it at that. Now onto BF4 the beta was real fun.

Red Dead next or Rockstar doing a super hero game that uses that huge open world they are capable of making. A Superman game would be awesome by Rockstar.
Demos don't tell the full story. Dragon age 2 demo was amazing. The game itself sucked balls.
It's actually better to watch in depth gameplay vids where they play more of the game than just a demo. That helped me decide to buy Dishonored an the game is amazing.

Well it's expected. They turned an assassin game to pirates of the Caribbean that's why I'm not buying it.
I hated the sailing parts in Creed 3 and I still think Creed 2 was the best of em. When they bring a true sequel to 2 then I'll invest again.
No windows 8 is nothing like win 7 I tried it an it was a touch screen tablet OS it made everything full screen even emails. It was horrible to use. I removed it an put Win 7 back on. An I'll wait for Win 9.
When will you learn SteamOS is not going to be a replacement for Windows and it never will. I repeat Never Will.
It won't have all the normal stuff u need to run day to day. You're delusional if you think SteamOS will replace Windows for gaming. Never gonna happen. Win 7 is fine an I'll be sticking to that an using my steam as I do.
SteamOS would need decades behind it to be able to replace my desktop OS.
Id rather have poor char customisation and great gameplay than vice-versa. See APB online plus many other games.
I don't think ESO is going to be as good as WoW or Guild Wars 2 judging by the gameplay I have seen but hey let's see eh.
I think the Metro UI is fine on xbox but horrible for Desktop.
I prefer the UI of xbox to PS3 but I only plan to get a PS4 in future.
I'll stick to Win 7 on my desktop and see what Win 9 has to offer. Lol@tablet UI for desktop someone should have been fired for that idea.

It would also depend on the price of said Steam Machines, if they matched console prices or are cheaper than they would do better than the Ouya but they most definitely will not compete with the consoles which have Brand recognition.
Who outside of the hardcore gamers know Valve? or even know what Steam is? Ask a non gamer about Nintendo, Playstation or xbox and they'll tell you exactly what it is.

I agree I'm actually disappointed with the UI. It looked so promising when they showed that vid that you can watch your friends game.
But they ended up going with the same ole sub menu crap. The one thing I don't like about my PS3 is the UI.
And Win8 can die. I'm sticking with Win 7 until I see what Win 9 has to offer.
Free to play models are not good news. We have to steer away from this or else it's going to be a micro transaction hell coming.
I'd rather pay full price for a full game. I won't support these free to play titles.

I've had the best of both worlds with games like BF3, Max Payne 3 & GTA 4.
They have everything over my consoles. I will someday own a PS4 but not until it has a nice library of exclusives cause multiplat games are simply better on PC.
