It's true there is no other GTA like game other than Saints Row 2 but obviously the devs of SR chose to run in another direction to avoid GTA comparisons.
I think EA will eventually try to make a GTA like game they're the only company that looks at those sales and wants the same at any cost. They tried with MMO's to match the success of WoW but have continuously failed. Warhammer and SWTOR lol.
Agreed the gameplay looks terrible. I don't see the hype. Is graphics all people care about? The gameplay is awful. The best next gen game I've seen so far is killzone shadowfall.
But I'm sticking to my PC until the ps4 has been out atleast a year.

The gameplay of GTA 5 far superior to GTA 4.
They too the Shooting mechanics from Max Payne 3 which was amazing, the driving mechanics for Midway Club Drive (whatever that games called lol) and the Weapon wheel and exploration of Red Dead.
The game shits on GTA 4 in every single aspect. The story already for me is more interesting than GTA 4 which bored me with the first couple missions.
Agree fully. I can see myself playing GTA 5 for a very long time. Shooting mechanics & Driving completely improved upon.
GTA Online is only gonna make this a true killer app for the next few years.

Don't get me wrong watch dogs looks good but not GTA 5 good. Watched many gameplay vids for WD an there's factors like having to do eagle eye thing by hitting a base to unlock an area for hacking. The repetition with that won't go down well.

The visuals look perfectly fine to me. Wow i got a monster PC rig and im waiting for the PC version but i think the console version looks fine. Gameplay>>>Graphics.

I don't know what sort of graphics whore you are but I've watched a lot of quality vids on youtube of GTA 5 an it looks visually pleasing. And what's more is the gameplay looks amazing.
Gameplay>graphics all day long. Sometimes I still play Diablo 2 an it's graphics are poor but the gameplay is freaking awesome an that's what matters.
The game will be announced for PC an next gen consoles in a few months time I can assure you of that lol.
Although I plan to migrate fully to PS4 next gen. I cancelled my Ps3 pre order of GTA 5 and got the 360 version cause all my close friends an cousins play on xbox live so its gonna be alot more lively there.

Playing on 360. But yeah also agree the driving in this GTA is soooo much better than that floaty driving in GTA 4. I couldnt drive anythin in GTA 4 it was terrible. The shooting/cover system blows GTA 4 out the water.
Just imagine when GTA online kicks off! i booked off days from work to get better acquainted with it :)
