Important thing to consider is that RDR2 was announced in 2016, if it's releasing two years after announcement it doesn't matter how many years it was in development. This game was announced in 2014 I think and has no release date in sight.

I really like Remedy and their games but I'm not a big fan of the environment choices in this and Quantum Break. Looks kinda bleak and bland, specially this one where you're in one building the whole game.
Max Payne and Alan Wake environments were also very dark but they had so much character. On the other hand i like the moving structures.

Map size doesn't mean shit though. In fact, travelling through miles of repetitive areas for your next quest can be quite annoying.

This should have been a free to play title. I'm sure it will sell but $60 for a battle royale game with a zombie mode thrown in and the same MP as the last 3 titles is just not worth it IMO.
If players can trade it then the devs can't sell it, pretty much that. I'm sure it's possible to come up with a middle ground there but they likely don't care.

It bothers me that all people talk about is Lara's design but no one talks about the DINOSAURS! That was the best part of Tomb Raider they took away! I have no idea why they strayed away from cool creatures and went for realism instead.
I think you're overreacting but I do agree that there in a slight tinge of cheesiness to the way this character talks considering how the game was shown to be more quiet and subtle all this time. Personally to me the rest of what I saw looks so amazing that I wasn't as bothered by it.
Because the practice is dangerous. We don't know all the details but these types of practices eventually lead to what happened with Battlefront 2. Having only cosmetic purchases draws a line, but mixing it with game progression means they can subtly incorporate abilities and upgrades that are just a bit too cumbersome to unlock unless you want to pay. It dilutes the experience, and it may not affect this game but it can serve as a test to exploit further in other games.
