Nice
Looks interesting, but seems like a scripted point and click type of game.
I think it's also important to understand that a toggle option isn't as simple as people think. Some games are very intimate and unless it's factored into the game design, the camera getting pushed behind could cause the game to be glitchy.
This is why games like COD have it on multiplayer only, because the scripted elements of the campaign don't automatically adjust to third person.
The switch is during animations, it literally doesn't affect the gameplay at all. Also, the issue people have is with it being 1st person in general, nothing to do with committing to 1st person or 3rd person. If they changed removed the 3rd person animation, nothing would change as far as people's issues, nor the gameplay in any way.
Despite the lack of a great exclusive line up this is why I keep an Xbox. 3 years of gamepass and I'm locked in with more great games than I could ever finish.
It has 77 on metacritic with 17 reviews. Don't see this s the average just because it's IGN.
lmfao are you living in the right timeline? PS4 and Xbox One are in the game gen. PS5 competes with the X. Series is an underpowered X and still a generation ahead of PS4. It runs almost all the current gen games.
Awesome
Who is "their"? This is not made by Microsoft dude lol. It's a fan-made mode made in Halo Infinite, why would they need an "answer" to anything?
There are dozens of fan-made modes in Infinite inspired by many many games. You have Cod Zombies in there, rocket league, battle royale, etc.
Very cool art style!
You forgot Mechwarrior 5 Clans on the list.
Indeed indeed, you can't slaughter hordes hiding in the grass.
We have enough of those.
Yes! Looking at this just made me realize how timeless Halo 3 looks (except the face models). They should really release a Halo 3 remaster in this engine though if they're working on multiple projects, it would be amazing.
Honestly, after that 6 year wait just to play an unfinished game and not much player content since, I would rather have lower quality content more often. I don't actually mean that of course, but I think the best position would be to separate multiplayer from the campaign and release campaign content/spin off games more frequently, while supporting the multiplayer experience for 3 years. OR release a good finished Halo experience every 3 years and have the frequent releases be DLCs and sp...
The issue was that it took so long and so many resources to develop and tune the engine that it took away time from developing the actual game. They had really ambitious ideas for the campaign and it was obvious they had to cut it completely short. I guess the idea here is that with an established engine they can focus on the game more.
As long as it has taken, this is what I wanted to hear.
I'm not sure you watched the video. The rumor literally says "That's our single largest project" and "we have close to 100 people working on it". If you're disputing that then tell that to the author.
The footage just looks like forge clickbait, we already have that mode in fan made BR modes. We have no idea how it looked or how many resources it took, but if it was 2 people they wouldn't cancel it to focus on the next game. I don't k...
Looks like it was just Halo Infinite's sandbox being forcibly used to create a BR mode that most Halo fans never asked for. If it was taking that many resources then it would have just sucked away resources and attention from the rest of the franchise. I'm glad they stopped to focus on the next Halo game, that is the right move. The only way I would approve this would be if they dedicated a completely separate studio to it.
Nice, very nice.
