That was basically a port with last gen graphics. I've never played a monster hunter game properly, but from what i've played and watched the animations, art style, and the scale of the game just amazes me.
For some reason the mosnter animations are very smooth and fun to watch, as with most capcom games. I can only imagine how amazing monster hunter would look with current gen graphics, it's so ironic how they've kept such a big game for such small platforms...

They haven't added anything considerable to Black ops to make it stand out. Call of duty in general has left a bitter taste in people's mouthes, and it's extremely unappealing now, unless they upgrade the engine.
It's gonna be a good game don't get me wrong, but I don't think the additions are that amazing at all.

Am i the only one who thought 3 was the best of the series? Although i didn't like the removal of some features, the story was so much more immersive this time, at least that's how i felt. I have never cared so much about making choices in video games as i did in mass effect 3.
I'm assuming i'm probably the only one who wasn't that let down with the ending. It wasn't the greatest, but i thought it worked fine.

Don't call the mode stupid when you don't know what it is. You were expecting "flood" mode to be like beast mode from gears of war, which is fine but 343 never claimed this is a new "mode" per se.
It's not a mode like spartan ops or forge, it's just a gametype that replaces infection. Since infection is so popular they actually designed flood skins for the zombies, completely as fan service.

Xbox 360 has halo, and i care more about that than any other piece of entertainment on the planet, hate it or love it. Ps3 has amazing exclusives but i've finished them all at my friend's house.

I was disappointed at first but now i think Baird is the perfect character because he's not perfectly stereotypical. He's a douchebag and annoying at times, and it would be interesting to see how he came to be like that, or how he handles situations being the way he is.

It shouldn't be that much of a mystery, both the leftover covenant and the UNSC have been researching and uncovering forerunner technology now that it's discovered. Maybe some signal or beacon or some hidden map directed them to this part of the galaxy, and turned out to be an actual planet.
I don't think it's a coincidence that they stumbled upon it. There must some kind of plan or something.
I hass been done before i'm sure, i just can't think of an example. I know God of war Ascension multiplayer is basically that, with monsters being the third party.
Either way, it's rlly cool, i've alwaysss wanted this in gears of war/halo/cod.
I always play on normal first just to experience how it's meant to be played. I always play on heroic in my second run, and legendary with co-op the third time.
I think there's sometimes a disbalance in heroic where some portions like vehicle segments randomly get frustrating, so i'll stick with normal the first time.
