well that's true but it's not as easy as just keeping your kids from playing it. There's absolutely no way your kid won't go crazy over it when all his friends are playing it. Kids are very sensitive and they'll keep demanding it over every little thing. Sooner or later the parents will give in to their demands, either that or the kids will be running off to their friend's house all the time to play it.

Ye i'm afraid it'll be forgotten too even though it's amazingg. Sooo many games will be coming out next year, and new consoles will likely be released too so it'll have to go up against nex-gen games.

I don't have a ps3 but i've always liked the series so yes there's a point. I've played MGS4 but only at a friend's house, and although i would love to play all of it, i don't care if it's never released on xbox.
I can always read and watch videos to catch up on the story. The MGS world intrigues me so yes i care.

Well exactly, instead of in manuals the backstory is now in terminal videos, and they're pretty well made for just extra info.
And similarly, the forerunner novels "Cryptum" and "Primoridum" already came out before halo 4, they explain Forerunners and Diadact's story. And the third book is coming out next month.

exactly right? This game has a bigger campaign and probably a bigger multiplayer for 20% of the cost.
Sony needs to stop trying to make ps3 sized games for Vita and focus on small but good quality games like the mobile market.

Why didn't they just make a resistance-esque game? I don't know why they went with FUSE to attract xbox 360 owners. I would've loveddd resistance on xbox but i think sony has rights over that, so anything similar would've been great. FUSE looks very forced and doesn't show what Insomniac is known for.

times have changed, for the worse. If all parents stepped up together, something can be done. But exposure is the biggest issue, and activision targets the younger audience, indirectly of course, because they know they've hit a gold mine.
