Yep, I've never considered an HD remake a full game, and never would've thought of paying $60 for it. But this is above and beyond an HD remake, this is full-fledged game purchase for me, and i feel like I'm getting a better value than some actual current-gen games!

It took on a huuge overbearing premise, and yes it didn't completely deliver but that's no reason to penalize it. They could've made it into a simple game with a campaign and a multiplayer mode, and it would've done much better critically just because it aimed low and achieved that target.

^Well what's strategy then? The point is you can stop time when you want and it changes how you handle the fight, yes it's not extremely strategic but there's still freedom of choice. Same with last of us, sure it's a wall hack, but it affects the way you approach the situation, like running into an enemy and quickly pulling the trigger versus sneaking around him and knocking him out so other enemies aren't alerted.

Microsoft isn't just a gaming company you know that right, that's a separate department. This kind of research and prototyping is done by a lot of companies in the technology industry. It has nothing to do with Xbox so they wouldn't scrap it for making 'addictive' games instead. I think he was probably referring to the main plot of the game as you progress through it. What you explained is basically a very generalized back story, you learn all this right at the beginning of the game.
But where does it go from there? There are barely any cutscenes or dialogues furthering the plot, you see random characters here and there with no depth, and nothing out of the norm happens to keep you interested. I'm the biggest halo fan and I do have faith in bung...
The basic version of the game is free, why would anyone want to read a bad review of it if they can play the game for free and check themselves.
This game has insane graphics, i haven't played it yet, but it does look awesome at least.

Although I haven't read the review, I don't think there's any problem with someone not liking the over-sexualization aspect of a game. If it's in my face and is affecting my enjoyment of the game, and yes over-sexualization can be bothersome after an extent, then I see it as a negative.
