Except for the VGA's maybe...........not only 360 but in general on consoles. Definitely one of the best looking games last gen, but of course you've never played it and will judge from a 4 inch video screen.

Relax, they just recently changed it for far cry 3. And it worked amazingly well, why would they risk experimenting with different formulas if the one they have is so great? yea maybe in the next game, but it wasn't fully explored in far cry 3.

If you're talking about gears 3 then you're just what some might call wrong. If you're talking about judgement, that wasn't a real gears sequel and we all know it.
I think they need to take the best things from each first, and make sure not to scrap things that people love. I was really mad gears 3 didn't have a berserker.
Gears 1: The atmosphere, raw art syle, feeling of hopelessness, the horror factor, and definitely the music.
Gears 2: The epic battles, crazy monsters, no holding back, and I'd say the story-telling was really interesting with the sires and underground research facility and whatnot.

I loved everything about the original xbox! The opening with the little yellow bubble about to burst, the sci-fi futuristic looking dashboard menu, and the sounds. So nostalgic! I wish they would allow us to customize the dashboards to display like the old school stuff.

Yep i think a big part of no co-op in main story is that it'll be more cinematic, with set pieces and whatnot.
It's a lot more difficult to incorporate the cinematic presentation for two players at once because they could in different areas. With one player it's much easier to control where they want the player to be and what set-pieces trigger as the player goes through a certain area.
