The hype is in the potential for how the story will turn out to be. If you've ever been hyped for a game or movie in your life you can understand. Obviously you don't know the story so you have no interest, but those of us who have been following the huge and deep story of Halo for so many years it's BIG DEAL!
Also it tells us that the campaign might have two playable sides, one from Locke's side, one from Chief's side.
Well Bloodborne getting positive reviews shouldn't have anything to do with xbox, negative or otherwise.

Because you have to see it from the eyes of the fans to understand. It obviously means nothing to someone who doesn't know what's going on, specially since there's no gameplay.
It's really because of the story. For us fans who have been following the story for many many years, every little detail is hype! Why masterchief is laying there damaged, why is agent locke hunting him when there's a far bigger threat in the universe, his dialogue and the way he say...

I agree, halo 4 has a great story. The only thing bad was some of the writing. Specially Didact, he came off cheesy and not nearly as epic as he could have been.
There was too much dialogue in general, both chief and Cortana talked too much, and some of the delivery wasn't right. That was the magic bungie had, the dialogue was just expertly executed.
If they can make every word carefully accounted for then it would be great!

Yea Gears is under-credited for popularizing that. Not only that but TPS games before that were a joke in the competitive scene.

Goddamn I don't know what is with me but I can never get enough of halo. We just got 4 freaking games remastered last year, got a halo 5 beta, and halo 5 coming later this year.....and I STILL want this damn game! I don't care what it is, if it's out there I gotta have it. This and project contingency.
