Lmao are you kidding me? Gears popularized the cover mechanic for manyy of the games coming after it. It's the smoothest cover system that other games still haven't come close to. I don't know if you know how to play Gears, but GTA cover system is a joke compared to it (not that it's bad), specially considering how much close quarter combat is in Gears. It's the only competitive TPS multiplayer game in the market.

i agree! Resistance 3 had an awesome campaign! The stupid online pass kept me from trying the multiplayer but the campaign was amazing. Resistance 2 had a great multiplayer though.

I personally think halo's Big team battle mode is the best large scale warfare. Specially since you can make your own maps and game modes. The i guess the thing about halo is you have to be really good and understand everything to have the best time, or the other skilled players will make your life hell.
Jumping in front of an oncoming warthog and sticking it with a grenade, then watching it blow up as it passes by you is one of the greatest feelings in gaming
I'm really not liking the graphics and art style, some are good, others are just badd. The gameplay i'm not worried about, but for a fighting game it should look way better than this.

I played alott for the first few months, then haven't touched. It's a great game, could've been even better if the grinding wasn't so tedious. I would've loved it back in my teenage years, but now I just don't have time to do the grinding. Plus it just turned into a chore after a while, every day you have to log in, do the missions over and over just for the sake of doing them.

I don't know where you're getting Master Chief is the villain from. He isn't the villain, neither is Locke. Locke may be the Chief's enemy but he's not a villain. It's a complicated story because ONI is painting chief to be a traitor (from what we know), and chief has had enough so he's fighting back.
If you haven't forgotten there is the whole forerunner army and the remaining covenant still out there, the Didact is still out there. Pretty sur...

Imagine, so far we've only seen the human side of the story, their internal conflicts are interesting as hell. We haven't even seeen what the covenant and forerunners are up to!
We still haven't seen the Arbiter, Didact, librarian, Halsey, all these other characters! The story is gonna be epicc.

What I wonder is why aren't there actual MOVIE games like this? I mean I rarely see movie games be this linear, when it makes more sense for them. In fact it might even be acceptable. Normally I hate extremely linear games, but playing through my favourite movies scene to scene would be more enjoyable than this.
LOL Forza has been the racing kind for many years now. Forza horizon 2 is considered one of the best racing games ever made! And these aren't just my words, go read the reviews, these words have been used over and over...and for good reason.
