It's not $40, you can't play Taken king without purchasing House of Wolves and Dark below, which are totally worthless DLCs for $30. So it adds back to $70.
"ONLY have to pay $60" is a ridiculous statement. Why should I have to repurchase the basic destiny that I already bought last year for $70? That is absurd.

Considering how incredible Halo 5 looks and runs at constant 60 fps with almost triple the content, don't know why their optimization sucks.
I have never been able to tell the difference between 700p-1080p in the dozens of games I've played next gen, unless I knew beforehand and stuck my nose against the screen to double check.
30fps to 60fps is noticeable. 720p to 1080p not so much.
Personally it doesn't bother me, but for argument's sake they really should've been able to optimize the resolution after all this time and resources.
Fuck them for charging $70 for this shit and leaving no other option AT ALL, i mean I can't even buy it used or borrow it to try it out. And I know for a fact it will never go on sale for under $50. I usually don't like to rant, but I actually liked destiny, so fuck them.

Fuck this game seriously, I reallyy wanted to try Taken king first so I signed it out from the library...and the disc is the same one from 2014...they are so absurdly shrewd they didn't even bother putting taken king on the damn disc. It comes in a code so it's literally impossible to even TRY this damn expansion without spending $70 on top of the $70 I spent last year. I'm done.
You mean $120? Because I paid $60 last year for the same exact disc that they have in Taken king. It literally says "2014" on it, and they throw in a code for Taken king.
It blows my mind you're actually defending this. The game itself I have no problem with, but this pricing policy is absolutely absurd I've never seen anything like it. Even call of duty you can buy the DLC separately. I just can't support this.
