There's no reason they can't just approach EA again.
Yess it's probably the best thing they've done. As much as I dispise micro-transactions, I'm even willing to overlook that for so much free DLC.
I can't believe devs still alienate their population because of DLC, and then worry about dwindling populations.
Don't see why they shouldn't release it on PS4, it's great value, and coming from EA that's a big deal.
Battlefield hardline was just added this week, it has games not even a year old. If they add battlefront next year it would be perfect.

At first I was like this is nice, then I was like kk its getting good, then it started to sound kinda epic, then it dropped the halo theme and I started smiling...WOWW this is amazing.

What are you talking about. That's what it means, you can play slayer if you want, only the maps will rotate which is with every game.
Also halo just has so many modes it's not practical to have a playlist for each mode.
This is exactly why I didn't want to compare it to an xbox game. I'm not a MS fan, I'm Gears fan sure, I'm a halo fan sure. I'm also an Uncharted fan, and an even bigger God of war fan. Ratchet and Clank remake is a perfect example of how it should be done, although I don't know the price of that yet.

Regardless of what they mentioned or not, it's not a $60 collection without multiplayer at least. I could say I'm making a remaster of Call of duty 4, but say "HEY, I'M GOING TO REMASTER THE SINGLE PLAYER OK, NOT MULTIPLAYER". So does that automatically lower the benchmark of what my game should be judged on? So I can charge full price just because I did what I said? That makes no sense.
But there is a problem when it's from devs that are already overcharging the crap out of the consumers.
It's the equivalent of begging when they're already rich, in the case of Destiny specifically because they have absurd pricing on the Taken king (which requires you to spend $40 on previous DLC to buy it for another $40, or buy legendary edition for $70 when you already bought Destiny last year).

Everyone knows these games are amazing. But I think for a remaster, charging $60 while removing multiplayer and only updating to HD (although the graphics are good enough to not even need it) is what the game should be judged on, not just on the fact that it's a collection of great games.
Uh ok then don't charge the same as "first rate experience".
