woohoo real money for fake tits!
wait a minute...
I don't see the problem. You don't even know what he's referring to, just because TLOU development started in 2009 doesn't mean he knew what they were making.
The gameplay reveal is just a gamepaly reveal, we don't see 90% of the game until we play it after release. He was probably referring to something in the story.
Ugh I so wish this had a campaign. I could imagine it while playing the beta. It would've been epic, playing as a bounty hunter or Jedi, they could've done so much.
Halo 2 - This Glittering band
Halo 3 menu track - Never forget (I think)
NICE
Good point, but I highly doubt micro-transactions are covering the $40 million cost increase.
Firstly, base price has gone from $60 to $70 in many places, and development costs also gone down in conjunction with better technology.
As far as I can tell the games that already make the most money (Destiny, CoD, etc) are the ones with the most micro-transactions, which spells greed to me.
This, I agree with this, although OP has a decent point.
I can actually picture it looking like this
Nono that isn't what I was trying to say. Charging for gameplay content is much muchh worse (and Destiny is supremely guilty for their policy on that), but I meant from the consumer's perspective paying money for gameplay content is still understandable. I can't ask you to not buy gameplay content for the sake of protest because if you're a big fan of a game you don't want to miss out that.
But avoiding to buy cosmetic items for real money is something we...
Well my point it much bigger than these optional emotes.
I have a problem with this contagious mentality that blurs the lines between optional and mandatory. Once they see it making money they will push these policies more and more to squeeze every little penny out of us.
If you're not aware, The taken king for Destiny requires you to buy The house of wolves and Dark below, which have maybe $10 worth of content for $25. So you have to spend a full $60 ...
Good godd there is no shame left in this industry, and anyone who buys this crap is seriously part of the problem. Gameplay content I can understand, but this opting to buy this shit is just stupid.
Problem is that people who aren't used to play halo will dislike it regardless. I can guarantee there will be many reviews claiming "it's too much like halo" and other's saying "they changed too much".
It's an insolvable dilemma.
Sweet Satan of the Chinese supermarket that was the most blood pumping trailer I've ever seen. My body is going nutsss!!!!
Lol bro, your ignorance is showing.
Agree with this.
But I will say that their microtransaction policy is much muchhh better than most other developers considering they're adding maps for free.
Hell no, I'd take field pickups over perks and unfair advantages for higher ranking players, as far as the abilities go.
Wait what???? Are you being sarcastic? There was constant music in the battles, it was the first thing I noticed!
The whole atmosphere, graphics, music, and presentation is amazing in this game! As far as the gameplay goes, I need to unlock more weapons to give a more thorough opinion.
Loving the presentation of this game, the music, sound effects, visual effects, epic battles really give the "Star wars" feeling.
Yea I mean it really doesn't matter.
Xbox owners have Halo 5 this holiday to keep them more than satisfied, and PS4 has a decent collection of games as well until Uncharted is finally unleashed next year!
Well he was probably waiting for the commotion to happen so it increases publicity, maybe the apology was all part of the plan.
