Remakes are not going to destroy Next-Gen gaming. They are doing them because they are fulfilling a demand. A demand that was created (IMO) due to Xbox gamers jumping ship to PS4 and they never had a PS3 to play it on.

Don't buy this game. I'm someone who poured many hours into the original D3 and supported Blizzard through thick and thin. They built Reaper of Souls off the backs of many fans, including myself who gave them their most valuable ideas.
We all came together and produced these ideas because we were led to believe that they would fix the original game but what did they do? They took those fixes, moved it over to the expansion and completely screwed us over.

truefan you're an idiot. Sony moved the entire industry forward with CD when Nintendo insisted on cartridge. If it wasn't for Sony, we'd all be using cartridges right now paying 200 dollars (factoring inflation) for each game.
The original Playstation also made popular the use of PCM audio. Because of the fact that CD had much more storage space than cartridges, sound on Playstation was a lot better leading to higher quality soundtracks.

I do get his point that eventually the successful indie games will get picked up by investors and later on be controlled by them. I think that it's a case-by-case basis. It might happen to some, might not happen at all.

I knew the moment I read "turn based RPG fanboy" that this was going to be an awful review.
That's different. That's 200 dollars, with that, you can buy lots of stand alone devices with practical functions.
If we're buying games for 200 dollars, then that game should come with whatever accessory that goes with the game and that game should be reviewed for the entire experience (such as Steel Battalion, any of the GH/RB games, Beatmania, etc).

This review sets a bad precedent as well. Games aren't reviewed based on their price point. They're reviewed and scored AS THEY ARE.
If they are reviewed based on price point as a factor, then Titanfall should be knocked off 2-3 points just for the fact that it's an extremely barebones game being sold at full price. We get games that have more than that on PC for FREE.
